They did something similar to this at movie theaters in NY and LA for Splinter Cell: PT, the players sat in the front row with TVs in front of them and then they played against each other through XBOX Live and the audience got to watch them duke it out on the movie theater screen.

It's probably been said before, but 17 an unusual age to put a limit on. 18 would be for legal reasons, (signing an NDA), 21 if they are serving alchohol, etc. 25 if you want to rent a car. Smile Halo is "Rated M, for Mature". The ESRB rates Halo 2 as a Mature title recomended for ages 17+ (esrb.org). I assume that this age limit is only to comply with ESRB rating.

If you really wanted to go and you are 16, just show up without id or say you forgot it, and say that you are 17. I doubt they will card you or really care. Hell, I'll vouch for you if you come to the San Fran location! Very Happy

Very good point Ranger D. I don't think many are doubting that this is an oppertunity to play Halo 2. As much as I love this game (the ARG that is), we must all remember at the core of it all is a marketing ploy for Halo 2. Not that that is a bad thing, this has actually been a very fun experience and an exciting way to get more involved in the waiting period.

Heh, all you Chicago peeps who might be staying for the weekend can come see my show!

I know, why would you come see it?

Cos the song I sang to Melissa back in September is featured in it!

Here's official information about the show. And hey, it's Gershwin, so what's not to love?

What makes you think the clarification was only for you?

Until we beekeepers achieve mass telepathy, words will have to do.

Yes, she didn't say the first few hundred "at each location."

You are so lucky to be in a real show! I love musicals and have been in a few! I was in Bye Bye Birdie (under to Mama), Les Miserables (Under to Eponine), and Jane Eyre (Mrs. Fairfax). This of course, was just high school musicals.

I, AlexofMaceidon, hereby and forever, do submit my formal surrender to the Goddess Army.

Now that thats done with.

I'm actually coming off of a musical high, (went and saw Oklahoma at my High School and I can't the songs out of my head, good play, if you have info on where I could dl some of the songs, let me know) and would love to go eat cake, but I am rather confined to my current surroundings. Stupid school.

DAYUM! You Americans get everything...

OK, so we screwed up on the UK axons. Of course, BT no longer ALLOWS incoming calls to payphones, so it wasn't actually OUR fault...

Damn. Can't afford to just jet off to the States for this, otheriwse i'd bend the laws of physics just to be there in NYC to meet peeps.

Unfortunately, being a UK follower of much debt and marital status (being, as that is, with a 6 month old son)...

No chance.

Bummed.

You know, every time I tell someone that my gf is in Oklahoma! they ask me when she's getting back, why she's missing school etc.

The name for that play needs to be reworked.

To stop questions about what part she's in, she's chorus, but the only alto so she gets to sing her part the loudest, bless her heart.

I didn't. Hence the gratitude.

It'd be awesome if each location hosts a 100 person tournament with 4 winners..2 winners, or even just one winner..and then, each location goes on xbox live, and all 4 places play each other..so that, it's like 4 vs 4 vs 4 vs 4...each of the 4 from the different locations. Or it could be 2 on 2 on 2 on 2 or 1 on 1 on 1 on 1..The winners face the winners Smile I hope they do this in some capacity

We have schools here, we just use larger teepees.

Very few things I read on message boards will make me actually laugh out loud. That was one of them.
