Yeeeeeeah, the "inspired by" soundtrack isn't very high on my list....oh wait. It's not on my list. Now the real soundtrack would be awesome.

Nothing would please me more than to attend one of the exercises, but geography conspires against me in attending. (Not that I couldn't get to SF, but on a Thursday, not happening- just too far away for casual one night thing.) Curious as to why something like this wouldn't be a little more spread- LA, Seattle, Denver, Miami, Atlanta, DC, St. Louis come to mind. Oh well.

So that being said, can I expect to get some good tales from you fine folks attending? I suspect, based on the level of posts here, that the Goddess Squad is going to be en masse, and Phaedra does tend to be quite descriptive, so that bodes well. Smile

Oh, and look good for the cameras folks, I didn't, and still get mocked for the G4 ILB story I appeared in... Laughing

I hope to be attending at the SF location. Expect a full report from me on the whole thing. Hopefully they will let us take pictures as well. It's the least I can do for people who can't make it.

That's a nice way of putting it. Laughing

Edit: (Seriously, she is one of the few people in the world who not only can appreciate the structural beauty of a well crafted sentence, but can also create them herself. She is an artist. You should read some of her short stories, which, if you give her the proper blood sacrifices, she may be willing to bestow upon you.)

I'm sure there will be a plethora of cameras.

A Goddess Army? definitely sounds kick ass to me. We should make shirts! Very Happy

Phaedra, I'm always happy to be a woman. Sometimes I cant handle females of the teenybopper variety though. When you are a teenage girl, people seem to think you are automatically ditzy... which I can be, not gonna lie there. I like to think I can be a bit more intellectual though. Or at least have weird enough tastes to be considered different from those types.

For example of my weird tastes: ILB! Wink

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh shirts! That would be excellent.

And there's nothing more fun than being a woman in the minority in a situation like this. Lots of positive attention. Smile

Oh yes, yes indeed. I couldn't agree more. I'm really excited, actually geeked for this. Hrm, who is artsy enough to create something? I love the cafepress bee... maybe we could use it somehow? If the creator didn't mind. If we could think of some kind of design... What do you think, Goddess Army?

angelo, that's like those tank tops in the shop currently that have "Axons are hot, and so am I" on them or something like that. Smile

*bops Angelo on the head* Silly boy! Laughing

I don't mind wearing that, except maybe the pink is a bit too much....

Anyone have an idea for the design itself? Maybe the bee with the words Goddess Army across the front. On the back we could list Kali and Phaedra since they were the original Goddess Squad and then list all of us new inductees (spelling??)?

I could say thorough, as she is that as well. I've already told her how much I like her posts, even though they don't fit the short attention span theater that most of us tend to gravitate towards. I tend to be short on words for the most part, so she's just helping to balance the scales. Very Happy

Well I was specifically thinking of PR folk cameras for intention of distribution online or some other form. That's where I became the language mangler. Plus it had to be done on camera for a nationwide cable channel for games. Couldn't get better than that. (My defense- it was done in editing, I spoke well for other bits that weren't used, honest!)

Just reread the 404 page...

I could have sworn I saw "100" somewhere on the page yesterday, but I guess it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

That mistake actually makes me happy cause I was freaking out. I'll be arriving right at 7:45 or so if I make absolutly no stops and drive like a pysco. Hearing that they'd only allow the first 100 killed me...

eh, if it comes down to it maybe one of the Goddesses could stuff me in their purse and sneak me in...

Maybe this is the line from 404 that made you think that?

The first few hundred crew members to sign up will be guaranteed admission under these conditions. Crew members unable to register early, or arriving late, are encouraged to attend, but admission to and participation in this exercise cannot be guaranteed. I anticipate considerable demand.

OK, let's try this:

5 bucks to the first person who can tell me what time (respective to that city's time zone) the event is starting in each city, INCLUDING NYC!

tick-tock...
