My pleasure =)

Also, this might be of interest, I'm not sure, but the New York theatre has NOT cancelled any of their showings, and someone in the NYC coord thread called to find out if they were hosting an event and whoever was on the other end of the phone either had no clue, or was trying to fool us. =)

[SPEC]Perhaps Loews doesn't know about this event and the "training session" will be a LIVE mission where we have to infiltrate and secure the threatre[/HUMOUR SPEC]

I'll make the popcorn!
(Finally the summers spent in popcorn wagons pay off!)

Bungie would have made reservations for the theater a long time ago. There'd be no need to cancel previously scheduled shows, so that bit of intel doesn't really tell us much.

Hopefully they used their sense of humor and we play on the same screens that were playing I Heart Huckabees.

It wasn't until I read this that I remembered that I was just at this theatre to see I <3 Huckabees about a week ago (hilarious movie btw for those of you that haven't seen it).

Yeah. That was a fun movie.

While I'm releived that there's now no chance of one of us missing out by being in the wrong place, I'm still a bit disappointed. I haven't been able to get out axon hunting and searching for this might have been a relatively good surrogate for that. Though on the otherhand, I think people had already figured out about it being in theatres, so it wouldn't have been much of a hunt.

Meh. It's still going to be a blast.

Trivia

Just a bit of trivia: Loews Theaters were the first and only theaters that showed the original Halo 2 trailer...The one that morphed www.xbox.com into www.ilovebees.com. If memory serves, these trailers were running around the same time that Vpisteve recieved his honey bear in the mail, perhaps even a tad before. It wasn't until Microsoft put the entire trailer on the internet for download that people actually noticed the website change (in the Halo community, I mean). Just a tidbit Very Happy Farewell.
