Woot!!! Can't wait to meet you all.

Hey, for those Goddesses (and others) who really want to give Stratus a scrub-down in a bucket (because he offered?), we will be riding in together, probably getting there around 5:30-ish local time...how long are you all planning on hanging out at Chipotle?

Hyacinthe, I know long trips at o'god-in-the-morning can be a drag, so if you want to convoy back to MI with us (at least as far as Kzoo), that's cool (and anyone else, for that matter)... if you want to be adventuresome on your own, that's cool too! Smile

Well, Kali and I will probably not get there until during the designated arrival period, so I guess that rules us out for participating in the dousing.

Sad

Safety first people! Do you even know how many highway workers are killed or injured by tired drivers each year? I would say something close to 87%*

So logically you'll have to just stay for the fun and then arrive home later. It's the only responsible thing to do.

My first and only accident was when I was seventeen and heading home from a church lock in. I'd expected to be able to sleep (at my church there was always lights out time, at this one... not so much). I drove people home, and then I had a stretch of about 50 blocks to get home. I totalled my car, the pickup it hit, the car in front of the pickup, and dented the truck in front of that. All because I fell asleep, and I'd HAD coffee. Lots of it.

So, it IS a concernt.

My mom still frets when I drive late at night.

I think we just nailed it right there.

LOL.

I only mentioned it to say that I wasn't out partying, I was being a good little girl and very responsible (which I actually was) and I STILL totalled the car.

If you mean to reference my age, well yes, I didn't know at that age how tired was too tired. I think that experience is what taught it to me, not the intervening years.

No, it explains why your parents wont let you spend the night out here. I was looking at the words "church lock-in".

What exactly is on time? On time for the registration? Chipotle? Bath-time?

LordofMorgul and I won't be there at 4, but were planning on showing up around 5 or so...i think. Both of our planes arrive within 5 min. of each other at about 4:15, and i believe we were planning on going straight to Chipotle. This whole parking garage deal is going on before Chipotle, right?

I'm not sure when Cmdr Keaton is leaving, but McDonald Heard, ENS and I will be leaving from Madison ~4:00pm. We should arrive at Schaumburg near 6:30 if all goes well.

Is anyone bringing a portable DVD player so we can actually hear/view the DVD at the event?

Hey, just out of abject curiosity,

How many members of the Goddess Squad are there?

Inquiring minds want to know...
