Dane (the hubby) and I are in the car right now on our way there. We're planning on hitting Chipotle before the event, but it might not be until 5-6. We got a bit of a late start this morning.

Oh, and I'm wearing my black goddess shirt with a pink long sleeves underneath it. And jeans. And probably my black leather jacket with fuzzy hood. Dane is wearing an olive shirt, jeans, and his brown leather jacket.

Is anyone bringing a portable DVD player so we can actually hear/view the DVD at the event?

I do believe Stratus said he was bringing one...

Also Honorary Goddess ATDT, since his design was the one Phaedra and I went with.

Shout out to Darkmoontz (sp?), whose design I particularly enjoyed.

I ended up going with a combination of their designs. I was going to use Darkmoonz' exclusively, but his bee didn't show up well on my test print. I grabbed ATDT's bee, combined it with the rest of Darkmoonz' design, and voila. Props and thanks to both of them. Very Happy

Just in case they don't show it, I'll bring my laptop (it has a DVD player and a 17" screen).

Are there any WiFi hotspots around the mall?

Is there going to be anything to show? Sorry to have to be the voice of reason for the umpteenth time, but the sound clips now stretch out over 5 hours, and we have the theater for 3, so even if there was video go accompany the audio(which I HIGHLY friggin doubt) its too much to show.

The closest free hotspot would probably be this Panera:

http://www.panera.com/Map.aspx?LocationId=400

but there's a Starbuck's in Streets of Woodfield

Which is not free.

You all mentioned earlier that a starbucks is over there right next to the meetup spots for the axon. For all of us unfortuante to be able to go, I was wondering if anyone was going to bring a laptop and make reports from the starbucks (since it is a free wireless hotspot) telling us what is going on, or showing us some pictures. That would rock alot! Very Happy

Starbucks doesn't have free hotpots, it's $9.95/day without an existing T-Mobile account. Panera has free hotspots but the nearest one is a 5-minute drive away (http://www.panera.com/Map.aspx?LocationId=400).

They might set up wi-fi in there. After all, there will be an Xbox Live connection. I can't wait!
