Ah, sorry. I looked through the wiki and the thread and didn't see anything about it. Have we found all the words, then?

If Nun and Neo is -cide that starts with N

And we look at AHEEIDVIGATE and think about how PRPSNA would fit in....

AHEEID NAVIGATE
+PRPS+

Are we positive about the other letters and the order?

We're positive about 97% of all the words. Matricide is one of the one's where pretty sure about. Ethnocide and Deicide still seem slightly more of a leap than the others to me, but I'm cool with them.

I'm pretty sure about the order of the guns that we've identified. However, we don't really know if it's the first letter we're supposed to be looking at, or if it's the second or fifth or last (eeeee..!). Or if it really is the age of the guns that's important.

But it's the best lead we've got. Notice that the first letters do provide a fairly healthy mix of vowels and common consonants, good for an anagram.

Yes, we're pretty sure on all of the words. See my above post for the ones that are slightly less concrete (to me, to others they're fine).

. . . upon re-reading thread and wiki. . . .

Man, sorry about that. I'm just going to go back to bed and come back when I'm awake.
