[META][INFO][UPDATE][PUZZLE] TRAINING EVENT PASSPHRASES!!

There is a new puzzle to solve!

Got a call from Angelo at the Chicago event.... he forwarded a passphrase to me that M++ left for us - reason yet unknown - Please post here regarding these and I will update as I can or pm with any further info

Chicago Event: Nary (or Merry) Wanderer can anyone confirm one way or another?
San Fran Event: The Game Is
Austin Event: Suture
New York Event: x 2 / a 2 + y 2 / b 2 = 1
Equation for an ellipse....

Solution:
The Game Is = Afoot (= A?)
Merry Wanderer = Puck
X^2, etc. = ellipse
Suture = sew

A/Puck/Ellipse/Sew = Apocolypso

Note that if you assume the equation means "ellipse" and take the first letters of each word from all the passphrases and anagramatify the hell out of them, you can get "we sting."

This very likely does not mean anything except WOO BEES MOTHASUCKA!

I think "the game is halo" can be assumed, and that the other two phrases can be joined somehow to make a sentence or fragment, or it all makes one sentence.

Of course, the othre two could lead to something else completely .

Don't seem to be wavs. I tried nary_wanderer.wav, the_game_is.wav, and suture.wav, and all lead to the 404 page.
