Info on Dale's new email

There really was someone by the name of Savimbi. From what I can find, his name was Jonas, not Jeonas. He died on February 22, 2002, not February 21, 2002 as his "wife" says.

http://www.rnw.nl/humanrights/html/savimbi021009.html
He was shot dead in an ambush in the province of Moxico on February 22, 2002. Jonas Savimbi was 67 years old.

Now this site is interesting. What is the significance of this letter that Dale received? Codebreakers??????

http://www.scamorama.com/sonofsavimbi.html

Here is one letter:
CORDILIA MAYINI or else MRS HELEN BUMA
CHRISTAIN PENTICOSTAL MISSION MONGOMO BATA REPUBLIC
GUINEA EQUATORIAL.
FROM : CORDILIA MAYINI
E-MAIL: moonlight_2002frSPLATyahoo.fr

I am sending this proposal with due sense of humanity
and responsibility and with few awareness that you
will give it a sympathetic attention.
I regret the inconvenience it may cause you base on
the condition that we have not meet before.
I want you to understand that knowing someone take
aday.
After the death of our leader Mr. Jonas savimbi of
UNITA in Angola , I flew to mogomo a village of 20
kilometres away from Bata the economical capital of
guinea equatorial in Africa central.
During my involvement with UNITA in fighting for
total independence for Angola , I deposited in a
security company in Madrid Spain one trunk box
containing the sum of 10,450,000.00 ( Ten
million four hundred and fifty American dollars).
I solicit for your assistance in moving out the fund
from the security company in Spain.

Possible Nigerian scam hint

I dropped a quick and somewhat vague letter to the yahoo address at the bottom of the letter, and asked if was Sam or Wes or Dale, and if I could help. Note that the address was in lower case and the rest was all caps.

I used a hotmail address I have so if it's fake, I can block it, but if it's real, i can redirect to my game addr.

updates to follow.

Mott, there's no question that this is a relative of the Nigerian scam. The real question is whether the PMs posted this to his account as a continuation of the spam simulation that he's been getting, or is this a means of someone (Dale, Sam?) tipping us to something through an "innocuous" email that looks like spam. Like the maze that was really a bar code.

So far, no reply to my letter to yahoo. If it never happens, I won't pursue it more.

This seems to me like the PMs version of the "scam" spam. I don't think anything gets posted in Dale's archive except what the PM's post there. For example, our emails to that address don't show up in there. So perhaps it's window dressing to be realistic or perhaps it's spam with a hidden meaning. The 1,045,000 could be a joking reference to Push, NV since that was the amount of the prize money in that game.

Other than that I don't know if it really means something or if there is some sort of hidden clue in there.
