If you're as tired of me of reloading that ninebynine page, here's the image off of it.

The quote in the gif are the lyrics of a song by Syd Barret to a song called "Rats". (Very appropriate, if you know what happened to Syd)

And I can't hear it (plug in troubles), but the song on solipsism is Ben, by Michael Jackson, which was the title song of the killer rat movie Ben, the sequel to the original Willard.
Mark has left us another message in the source. I won't quote the whole thing but the general gist of it is <--makeitstopmakeitstop, etc.-->.
I guess we should start identifying the meese?

Well, the layout of the poem/quote at the bottom is from Alice In Wonderland - as a mouse tells its sad story her mind wanders and she stares at its tail, shaping her perception of the poem.

The two big circles at the top left and top right are very Mickey Mouse-ish.

I just want to keep the possibility open that this page is a dead end. As in "Rats! That wasn't the right answer!"
I just say this because the last answer seemed almost too easy. The clue we had was "eighty one squared" and from that we get "ninebynine"? It seems like a leap. I only tried it because it fit the song.
I don't know. It's not likely, but it's always a possibility that we're on the wild goose (or mouse) chase with this page.

. Not sure this is a full solve, but it's something:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Tried everything I could think of with mice, and then finally tried something that was mentioned above: Ben.
The page is http://www.theunraveling.com/ben.html . Title is "Heigh Ho", with a picture of a mouse and the caption "The little mouse who stands alone". In the source is <!--andwhereitstopsnobodyknows-->

I doubt it's a full solve, but it's a good find, nonetheless.

The "heigh ho" line seems to be a reference to "The Frog He Would a Wooing Go", a nursery rhyme. It does make mention of a rat and Mrs. Mouse.
Or it could be, more likely "The Farmer in the Dell". But the CHEESE stands alone in that song, though we do hear "heigh-ho the derry-o".
