[CAFEPRESS] Flea products

Those of us in the chatroom during the "Princess friends>>!help" episode today suddenly became very big fans of the flea, and we started talking about flea merch.

I put together some cafepress ideas, just for grins. I plan on bringing one 10-pack of my Splotch buttons to give away at the chicago training exercise.

If anyone has neat ideas for other Flea ideas, lets put them together here, in what I like to call The Splotch Store.

As far as money: Everything it being sold at the base price, all profits, if any show up, will be donated to Penny Arcades "Child's Play" charity drive for this year: http://www.childsplaycharity.org/ I don't know how any profits might come about, I just wanted to make a button for myself, and had a little fun with making shirts.
But rest assured, if profits happen, I'll pubicly account for them and their destination.

I dunno, perhaps this might be a good thread to coalesce the various merchandise stores with ILB related material? I know there is at least one other, maybe more.

I just had the sudden image of a shirt that said

GROSS
evade
evade
evade

I find the idea somewhat funny.

I had a thought, and I'll put it to you folks.

I'm gonna give a few of these buttons to my local ILB crew, but there will be several left over. Should I go with my plan to hand them out at the training session as swag, or should I actively donate them to the swag lottery for those unable to attend?
What do yall think? I ordered them a bit overpriced with shipping in order to have them for training day:/

Danin, that is hilarious! I'm going to use that, if you don't mind.

Note: I take requests. If you want to put your own fleaspeak there, or have ideas for new items, feel free to do so.

Our slogan for the store is mostly 'i speak flea++'.

I have no intention of marking anything up, this is just for my sense of humor. Perhaps I can make the Tux dolly available as a shirt.

EDIT:

OK, there is a semi-original one that I find amusing; check out the camisole and button pack. Again, if you have ideas feel free to PM.

For example:

I'd love some good solid flea++ for the coffee mug on how to make coffee. It has to be fairly short, but along the lines...

!init coffee proc
!seek grounds
!seek water

behold:
seeker > !label grounds
seeker > !label water
seeker > !init proc brew

brew:
seeker > brew >> caffeine

Where? I'd buy that in a shot.

No offense to the design teams and to all the work that went into creating all the stuff. But some of those items are REALLY geeky.

The only cool one IMHO is the Team Jersey one -> "So, do we have... cheerleaders?" Hah, that is great. Whoever decided to put that on a shirt deserves some kind of chocolate treat.

Point 1: Yeah, geeky is answering payphones for fictional characters and then arguing their motives for a week.

Point 2: Not NEARLY as arrogantly geeky as shirts that say "No, I will not fix your computer."

Smile
