It leaves us the keys with thier numbers so I'd have to imagine those have something to do with the solution. Perhaps we should only use the three digit numbers that chorespond with thier respective key number i.e. on key five only consider numbers with a five in them.

The latest clue reminds me of the song at the end of the original Austin Powers movie where he sings "BBC One, BBC Two, etc...".

Lyrics here, RealAudio here.

I have no idea how this reference could relate to the puzzle, though.

Does anyone agree with me that this puzzle is absolutely ridiculous and stupidly difficult compared with puzzles 1 and 2 or is it just me.
It also appears that the clues that are given don't make sense and don't indicate much at all no matter how many there are. Is this just a money making scheme?

I think we're all going to be slapping our foreheads with a big "Duh!" when we see the answer.

duh! or WTF?!!?

Honestly Varin id have to agree with fretty, the previous puzzles make a lot more logical sense. The first one was rather simple and took no special information, just find the message cleverly hidden in the letters. The second, was more difficult and took a several concepts we had to find outside of the game, si stebbins and the solitare cipher. Had to read up on those. This third one has taken at least twice as long as the other two combined, and we still really no closer to deciphering the numbers. We have a whole bunch of clues that we really have no idea what they mean or how to use them.

The clue with the drawn man saying Si stebbins was simple. look up si stebbins and very soon you will learn its a card arrangement technique.
We knew the text needed a cipher so it was a little work to decipher it from there.

This side. We know almost nothing, we have odd clues that dont lead us anywhere. Some queen songs. a bunch of numbers. an octave keyboard. some numberd keys. radio 1 radio 2. ?!!?! we dont even know if the numbers are words, letters, lyrics or just that numbers. how to reduce them if thats even what we are supossed to do. there is no focus here. We are looking at a processor chip on the sidewalk and we are on the top of the empire states building, and are expected to read the manufacturer print. We need a high powered telescope clue. something that REALLY focuses our efforts towards some particular direction.

If we really end up saying Duh. i will be amazed, this puzzle is incredibly vague.

BBC

Austin powers. is from UK.

That BBC song. Refers to the 7 BBC radio stations.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/

In which there are stations called
Radio 1 and Radio 2.

4 WAYS TO LISTEN TO RADIO 1
On a FM Radio
Find us between 97-99FM in the UK

i could not find the FM frequency for Radio 2.

This being said. WTF does this have to do with the puzzle.
... And further still. This has absolutely nothing to do with
the band Queen. ...

I also found there is an Album called Radio Queen.
http://www.christineohlman.com/christine/radioqueen.html

And queens university has some... event called Queens Radio
http://quis.qub.ac.uk/radio/

This is just the first of thousands of possible things involving Queen
and Radio. ... And still none of this has anything that puts a focus on the
puzzle at hand.

Well, they look that way now. I guess we won't know until this one is solved, right? Smile Razz And I really don't think this is a money making scheme. That's just silly. Virtuquest is an established ARG Company that's been around for quite awhile.

On the Austin Powers clue, what should come after the three dots. It's like there's some words missing.

Encoding schemes.

Does anyone know any kind of encoding scheme specifically refered to as Radio? ... I dont know i had the idea ... Radio 1ne Radio 2wo.
Perhaps we are supossed to "radio" side one and side two. I really have no idea what that means or is supossed to mean. But weve figured out two sides. ... ... too much [Spec] on this side imho, not enough hard facts.

Keys

just some things i noticed about the keys. Maybe it will help but i doubt it.

The black keys and the white keys. are definitely different somehow.
i dont mean just in size. In the code.

If you lift a white key and drag it to just beyond the border. You notice its drawn above the border. If you drag a black key. Its drawn below. By that i mean the border appears above or below the keys. Probably a coincidence. But it seems like they are seperate pieces of code. Not just all one code type with different shapes. The black and white keys ARE different somehow in code.

I pretty sure Radio 1, Radio 2 refers to the fact that in the offical version of the lyrics, it doesnt start with Radio...Radio...yet if you listen to the song, in the background they DO say Radio, Radio, then start with the lyrics of the song. Thus, if this is a Beale like we thought, we need to actually LISTEN to the song, and count the background words as words for our Beale. Thats what I get from the hint at least.

good idea

You know that does sound like a good idea. A lot of the Lyrics pages out there have the first "Radio Radio" But it would be better if we just listen to it ourselves. Ive really thought from the beginning of side 3 that it would be a beale. Just wish theyd send us a hint with Beale in the hint so we stop contemplating other options and nail down to one concept.

One thing that has been bugging me a bit...

If you look at the Austin Powers image on the last clue, when his head rotates there are inconsistencies. There is a shaded portion at the top angling towards the right and an unshaded portion at the bottom angling towards the left... It doesn't seem like it was a simple mis-editing when rotating the image as the rest of the image appears to remain intact (unless my eyes are deceiving me).

Of course another small thing about that clue is that the first half of the clue is orange with green border and the second half is green with orange border...no idea if there's any relevance to that...

First off, hello everyone!

I've been pointed to Virtucube by one of my friends and, after we both came up with the face 1 solution, we went and tried face 2 to finally stumble upon your little community of people. We followed all your reasonning for face 2 and now we're attacking face 3. Gratz on all the hardwork you guys did!

Ok, first off, I think the solution to this face lies within the lyrics of Radio Gaga by Queen. Many clues point towards those lyrics to be just a coincidence.

- The G-A-G-A
- The Keep Yourself Alive
- The Queen Radio
- The fact that the numbers on face 3 stops at 263, and that the lyrics to Radio Gaga are close to 260~.
- Even the Austin Powers clue with "Radio 1! Radio 2!" which suggests to number the words of the lyrics.

My guess is that, someone needs to listen to the lyrics of the song and find all the words to it, not by looking at them on the net. I say that because in the Austin clue, it suggests to listen to it. We should remove all the back vocals, and verify if the lyrics are correct. I'd do it but I'm not home for the week-end.

After that, let's hope we get exactly 263 words to it...

An idea would be to maybe "reverse" the lyrics. (i.e., start from 263 and finish with 1), since in face 2, we arrive at Queen by "reverse 52". Just a thought like that...

Anyway, that's my idea!

Keep up the good work!
