We've been talking about the hangers in the closets on the floorplan and speccing that there might be a puzzle there. Binary?

Mottjr explained to me why the E and W are backwards:

east and west are left and right respectively.
when you hold it overhead and align north/south, east and west point in the proper direction
when you look at it on a table it seems to be backwards.

Exercise:
name the four walls in the room NSEW as you know they should be.
take a piece of paper and write NSEW as it appears on the plan.
hold the paper over your head and it will point to the proper walls

So, the E and W are in the right place.

If you double click on the compass outside of the dial, you can move it around. Haven't figured out how to drop it, or if you can move it to anywhere worthwhile...

Something about all the stairs in the floorplan...they usually will be straight lines l l l l...but then all of a sudden you get a / or a \ thrown in...I think something is up with them...morse code? Binary?

Upon further study I realised that I just trouted...what I took as stairs are closets....so yeah, I think something is up with them...

If you right-click on the compass and then select 'Settings', it prompts you to allow SOD to access your camera and microphone.
