SPOILER - Link between Orunmila and Planet Order Explained

OK - in the chat with Dale today, we hit him up for how he solved the puzzle to the same point we're at. I thought I'd share it with everyone playing along at home, because it might lead to the final answers we're looking for.

To summarize a bunch of other notes and theories on IRC, we basically had a puzzle solution chain that looked like this:

Numinoustrail e-mail to Dale (#s + list of words) -> graph of pi -> 3.14159... applied to words = MYTHOSPHEREORG -> Or-un-mi-la hidden in mythosphere.org jpegs -> Orunmila email with latin -> ? -> mythosphere planet order = numerological order -> doorstep page -> guides cipher -> guides email about journey and 'direction of second step -> ?

Follow that? Hope so.

Dale explained how to solve that first ?

a) Orunmila email with latin -> count the # of words per separated line(s): 3-8-5-9-18-15.

b) Tranlsate 3-8-5-9-18-15 as CHEIRO from alphabetic position

c) Look up Cheiro - famous palmist (there's that hand again!) who had created his own numerology, and sure enough, associated the numbers to planets.

d) realize the planets on mythosphere need to be clicked in numerological order.

Dale unfortunately had no guesses on the next part (and why should he if we haven't solved it either, right? Grin).

So... I hope this helps summarize this rather lengthy puzzle trail, and helps people get to the next step.

Toodles!

-SV

Anyone found a good site on Cheiro and his numerology in accordance to the planets? I'm having trouble. Dare we track down his book http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0131274414/qid=1048523466/sr=8-8/ref=sr_8_8/002-3285121-7748053?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 ?

doorstep/second step

Since the Orunmila email was to direct us to the "doorstep" I thought maybe the email from the guide maybe trying to get us to the "second step"

Every journey begins with one small step, the catalyst to change inertia to
momentum. The length of the journey depends upon the direction of the second
step.

With each rain drop, the ocean grows.

It seems to me this email is full of literal inconsistencies.

I'm sure most of you know a lot more about physics than I do. Plus I'm not sure this is a starting point for finding the next step. But the email seems more complex to me than it appears.

I believe inertia is proportional to mementum thus I don't understand how one small step could change inertia into momentum. Plus a catalyst, I believe is used in chemical reactions.

Unless, However if we subscribe to the notion that matter exists in waves then in my limited understanding, an object can go through translocation where inertia can be changed into momentum. Where the catalysis of the chemical reaction of translocation would mean that less energy would be needed to overcome the inertia of objects in order to get them to move; which would therefore possess less momentum and be easier to stop. This concept was described by Zeno about 25 centuries ago.
