Man...I wanted a copy of it so bad. I don't think we'll be seeing it though if we haven't gotten it yet. Crap.

I have it on good athority that GameSpy's File Planet service will have the DVD available for download. If it's not already there, it will be soon.

See, that's cool and all, but I think I'd rather have a hardcopy or no copy at all. I already have every small .wav file and the humptydumpty .wavs on my computer, so it'd be kind of superfluous to download a DVD with all of that content onto my computer. I'm hoping that sometime within the next decade our addresses are processed and our DVDs are sent Smile

Again, the PMs told me that this was a *very* high priority for them, it's just that the logistics of it all are very complicated at this point. They WILL be sending them out, but it may take them a while to get it done. The point of them getting made was, after all, to be a gift to the players.

Also, the DVD is indeed available at FilePlanet, and has had over 6,000 downloads last time I looked.

That's good to hear. I was really bummed when I went to the location they posted, and the theater didn't have any because they never GOT any.

I hope they get around to, at least, sending out the email confermations that we WILL be getting one within the next year or so.

I will say nothing. Sad

Edit: If it makes you feel any better, if I actually DO end up getting a copy officially, I'll be giving it away.

So... um...

NOW can I start assuming that Jane isn't going to get back to me about the DVD I e-mailed her about nearly three months ago? Smile

This is SO disappointing. Here, I saw activity on the "Interaction" forum and got so excited. Did Melissa come back to visit?!

Nope. No such luck.

Yeah. Looks like Melissa forgot about her crew. Or Dana forgot about the people that helped her. Whatever.

Is it just me, or do I sense just a tinge of anger and disappointment on the part of Lt. Bingo Clamshell?

Has there been some announcement that DVDs are definitely not going to be distributed?

Negative. Our Operator has transceded metastasis. Conventional hardware is no longer sufficient for her processes. Be advised that crew members interested in aquiring firmware records of our voyage should reference the carbon unit Kristen Rutherford as she has a special version available here.

DVD

I have been able to reach Jane McG (dana) by email at 4orty2wo, but I doubt that she is in charge of this process - you might just try emailing the bizdev address on their site and asking about it.

or you could win the name the bee contest that Kristen Rutherford is sponsoring on her site.
