I know people are annoyed, but you have to see it from their perspective. They were employed to produce a game that would help advertise Halo 2, and were probably given a set amount that could be spent on the Live Events plus DVDs.

In all likelihood, they did take the names of people who contacted them, and probably went back to the Bungie/Microsoft to attempt to get extra money to cover the costs of producing a new DVD batch. However, as Halo 2 came out shortly afterwards, and since the soundfiles were available on the ILB site, and the DVD image can be found on the web (with their full blessing no less!), I think they would have had a hard time convincing Microsoft of the need to spend more.

After all, from Microsoft's vantage point, they already accomplished what they set out to do.

I'm sure they feel bad about not being able to go that extra mile, but the reality of the situation is that they almost certainly had their hands tied.

I recommend that you either contact some of the generous people offering to burn a DVD copy for people (for the cost of DVD plus postage of course!), or just remember we got ~6 hours of brilliant radio drama, and several months of a great experience for free Wink

PS. Many apologies for the run-on sentences. It's a habit I'm not trying very hard to break Laughing
