I still post on the grownupgamers forums once in a while. Same concept, older (25-35) gamers that get together on Live. The nice thing is to know that there are people like us. You just have to find them!

 		GREAT fun last night, guys.

Of course, one of the first things I do is accidentally nail Waters, I think, with the rocket launcher. Oops. Instead of getting back at me with a "Snark off, you n00b" he's like, "That's all right." Beekeepers RAWCK.

Thanks to Waters and Vector, who displayed great patience in teaching me the sword jump. I was so focused on hitting 'Y' then the right trigger at the right time, I'm afraid I wasn't ready to cancel so I ended up killing at least one of you (sorry Dasro).

Vector also showed me the Wraith Jump? THAT was awesome.

Favorite quote from last night regarding the Insta-Death region on top of the towers (krystn and Angelo/Aiden/my wingman, I think):
"Pupp! Don't go there! Stay AWAY FROM THE LIGHT!!! (Officer Pupp drops dead)....Oh, well. Alas, poor Pupp. We knew him well."

Favorite move: Fenwicked's ghetto blaster jig. Erm, you had to be there.

I wouldn't complain about dieing in a VERY heated match, let alone in an all-for-fun game like yesterday! Cool Besides, I guess killing me was the cool thing yesterday! Laughing

I had a VERY funny death yesterday! I was helping Phaedra as a target for the sword jump and Angelo asks me to go closer to the crane side. I just turned around to see what he was talking about at the same time Phaedra connects the sword jump, hitting me from behind (overshield doesn't help on this case) and killing me! Laughing I was like, well, you got the timing just right, and I don't mean the sword lunge timing! Laughing

Thank you so much water! You were so patient with me! Learning to fly was *awesome*! Sorry to all of you I killed before I got the hang of cancelling -- in the beginning I was always so startled that I actually *did* it that I'd forget to hit X.

My favorite moment, however, had to be seeing Fenwicked dance.

I do still seem to have problems standing on people's heads. <sigh>

Oh, and angelo & krystyn -- get a room, for crying out loud! Razz
