We managed to lock that flag down pretty good... but damn, we couldn't get it from you guys to end the game.... sheesh! Great game!

P.S. I'm sorry to any on the red team I may have offended with my remark. Sometimes what I say doesn't quite come out the way I mean it. So no offense intended to anyone... you're all great players, and I love playing with all of you, no matter which team you're on.

Guys, I am so sorry about my connection last night. I finally just gave up once it started getting flaky again. The constant false re-loading of the game was super-frustrating, so I decided I couldn't take it any more.

Sorry for any matchmaking or Headlong jumping I messed up because of this.

Man do I ever look smug in that picture... I'm sure absolutly no one will believe me, but I was so nervous when taking that picture... look at my freakin arms, I've got them crossed instead of around my friends like everyone else.

but who could blame me, I'm surrounded my a group of incredible, intelligent, beautiful, girl GAMERS... come on now... who wouldn't be nervous?

 		yeah that CTF game was crazy balanced I think... finally winning 3-0 took forever... hm. I guess that means it wasn't balanced in the end anyway... well it was balanced in that it took hours to win Razz heh I think red had more players the whole game anyway... at least it ended that way...

 		Yeah, that CTF game was fun! It was frustrating as hell to get so close to get your flag so many times and still fall short! Mad But it's an honor to lose to some beekeepers than some ****** in matchmaking! You guys were playing awesome D!

 		haha well zanzibar is one where I gott learn better sniping tactics... it was ridiculous having to face Jinx & Angelo defending with rockets and snipe... Evil or Very Mad how does everyone get everywhere so fast? Laughing heh

I've been sitting here all morning trying to figure out what CTF game you guys are talking about. I started to think I hadn't played in it, but then waters posts the stats and my name is clearly there...

After a bit more thinking I realize, hey, I wasn't feeling too good last night and quit playing early, but two of my youth boys stayed over and played till three or something...

So, the reason I didn't play like myself in that game was because I wasn't myself... Wink

Yeah, I had figured that and I just wanted to confirm. When I saw you were not sniping, it was clear something was wrong!! I tried to fill you role with very little success. I think I got the rocket (usually Thunderclap) only 2 times! And we're talking 3463456 rounds ...

Then you're not paying attention. The Haunted Apiary forum consists of multiple categories. One of them is reserved for Halo 2 discussion. However, other threads remain active and are not solely about Halo 2. For example, meet-ups with the PMs are still being organized, as well as beekeeper events, contact lists, etc. We're still in the process of distributing swag from ILB events.

Of course, if you had played ILB, you'd be aware that it's more or less inextricable from Halo.

More importantly, however, the community is still active. Until we have an alternate form of reliable communication with each other, I feel the forum should stay up. If we need to up our donations to the site in order to make up for the bandwidth, so be it. Not to mention that this is a very large ARG community, and we were players of the second major ARG by the people who invented the genre. It's likely that the community is going to figure largely in at least one academic paper regarding ARGs that I'm aware of, and I'm not sure whether the people involved with said paper are still watching the community. Plus, there are other ARG-related reasons that I think it's important that the community remain in active communication, and while other venues are slowly being organized, Unfiction remains our main gathering place.

So, I think the relative weightiness of the issues -- the importance of the continued cohesion of the beekeeper community vs. your annoyance at our continued existence -- is vastly disproportionate.

In any case, if the site administrators and moderators decide that the forum should be archived, that's their prerogative.

It is not, however, yours.

I'm not sure how you even have standing to comment, being neither a beekeeper nor someone involved in running Unfiction.

So again, if you don't like it, don't visit.
