Sweet. Looks like we'll have a pretty good team for some matchmaking...

For Halo 2, I aim to test this on the 27th or some other marathon. During the marathon, I shall have a pitcher of sangria (decided against the egg nog) next to me so I can maintain that level in which I'm in 'The Zone.'

Mmm. Sangria...

...concert tour in Spain and the concert in Madrid started at 10:00 so by the time we got back to the hotel it was 3:00 and *still hot!* (crazy Mediterranean weather) but the hotel staff liked us so they had pitchers of sangria, on the house, waiting when we got back...

Mmm. Good memories.

Egg nog, on the other hand... <shudder> I tried some on a dare once. That was an experience I wouldn't care to repeat.

Not sure what the quality of Mexican or Spanish restaurants are in your respective areas, so....

If any of you are ever in the Boston area looking for some good sangria (and some fine dining), check out Dali in nearby Somerville.

http://www.dalirestaurant.com/index.html

Food and drink and ambience (candlelit, kissy kissy) are all top notch. (Sorry, don't know how the sangria is compared to that in Mexico or Spain).

...and I've been scouring the net for sangria recipes should anyone want to, um, accompany me in my experiment on the 27th.

Hrm. I can already tell you that it would probably be half way into my second beer that my playing would go drastically down hill...

Pace, my friend. 'Tis all about pace.

Having said that, how many times do you think I'm going to say the following?:

"Guys, could you pause the action for a second? I need a bathroom break."

And more importantly, do you think we're going to stop shooting you because you've gone to the toilet? ;D

If by pace you mean I should drink one beer in the morning on the 27th then my next on the morning of the 28th, then I should be fine. Wink

In that case, I think we all need to chip in to buy a 12 pack for Angelo...

Wow! What a great idea!

Election: What Games We Should Play Together on X-Box Live

The top 5 choices win.

Election Results: What Games We Should Play Together on X-Box Live

By your (4) votes, the clear winner was

Halo 2

followed by

Burnout 3: Takedown
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Project Gotham Racing 2
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
Fable
Top Spin

The "top 5" games list was a 3-way tie. To quote the SlashDot polls, "This whole thing is wildly inaccurate... If you're using these numbers to do anything important, you're insane."
