Actually, all of the games in the poll were Xbox Live-enabled in some way. I pasted them into the poll from the official list:

http://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/live-gameslist.htm

Some of the winners don't have 'online play', it's true. I wonder who the 4 voters were, and why they picked those games.

Um, I voted, but I DEFINITELY didn't vote for fable or POP:WW..I mean, those just don't make any sense Wink . It would be fun to get some racing going, or some other type of gaming. I have alot of games that I haven't really even touched online, just because I haven't had cool people to play with. Now I do.

Crimson Skies is sweet online, I'd be down to play that. I hear ultra bust a move is pretty good on Live too, but then, that's a 1 on 1 game.

By the way, sorry I've been kindof absent from Halo 2 the past few days...I've been swamped with work and holiday activities. I'll be back after Christmas, I promise!!

omg INCyr you killed me so much last night.

I shake my fist at thee!

I had a good time, though. Matchmaking is funny. I wish my skill level matched my temperament, because I notice now that every time we go up a few ranks on average for our random assortment of beekeepers, the tendency for there to be buttheads is a -tiny- bit less. Or, at least, they're a little more intelligible. I did have a hilarious ghost-jacking episode with one kid on Headlong. We exchanged vehicles about 7 times before he finally splattered me (grrrr!), but we were bantering and cackling back and forth the whole time, with a minimum of smack talk. It was fun.

There was some random guy yelling so much on Headlong last night. He was getting so mad! What was wrong with him? Was he on our team? Does anyone remember this dude? Man, so many people last night seemed to forget or not care about proximity - I kept getting confused as to whether our side was talking, or the other guys.

It is still surprising to me that other people on Live are so shocked to see a girl playing this game. It is REALLY that rare?

You. Have. No. Idea.

Running across a girl playing video games is tough enough. Playing them online even more so. But that's even accounting MMORPG players, and people who play The Sims Online. Finding one of those girls who play on Xbox Live is even tougher, and give or take the Frag Dolls, you and your fellow female Beekeepers are probably the only girls playing Halo 2 online.

And no, that's not exaggeration, or me being sweet about it. I'm serious. I only know of one girl whom I've even MET in person who would play Halo 2, and she works at my local GameCrazy, so I imagine that kinda explains that.

You are an oddity, an exemplary instance of a girl who knows what fun is.

I can only remember one other non-beekeeper girl. Her gamertag was StonerChicklet (or something like that), and she really did seem to be playing stoned. "Guys, what's going on...?"

Well, that explains why, when I play in a random match-up, I get guys going "You're really a girl?"

I always want to say, "Does 'Phaedra' sound like a guy's name to you? Of course I'm a girl!" but it seems so tacky somehow.

Odd, that more girls don't play.

A friend of mine says she won't play Halo or Halo 2 because she feels sorry for the covies.

I have been off Live for quite some time but will be back on this evening. In the games that I have played, I rarely run into non-beekeeper women on line. I can't speak for women, obviously, but I know my wife seems to be somewhat intimidated by the whole on-line gameplay style. She loves Halo and Halo 2 and we will spend hours playing co-op campaign but when I ask her if she wants to join me on live she gets nervous and tells me to go ahead and play without her. If you knew my wife, you would know she is not the shy or nervous type. I don't know if it is the style of gameplay or if she is worried about her skill level but I have been unsuccessful in getting her on live.
What makes it funny is that during ILB and even on live she is always asking about everyone and how they are doing. She absolutely loves the Goddess Squad and will routinely ask me about Krystyn, Kali, Phaedra, HitsHerMark, Angelo and all the rest. I will continue in my efforts to add another woman to the XBL ranks and I am willing to listen to any suggestions.

Speaking of the Goddess Squad, has anyone heard from Hyacinthe? I have not seen her on live and was wondering what happened to her?

This touches me! How sweet, man! Hee!

I just tried to speak on behalf of all of us to Buzzkill's wife through an audio message last night on XBL, trying to get her to come and play with us all. Smile

Seriously, we'll get a night where we just play bumper cars for a good hour or so. That is one of the BEST ways to just screw around and be silly and somewhat competitive, without some of the chaos and meanness that can often scare people away.

No, truly. Let's do bumper cars. angelo was also saying recently that he's been totally lazy and a slacker and eating too many oatmeal creme pies, and he really needs to get off his ass and schedule another training session. I am paraphrasing, of course.
