Hey something I do to keep my friends list from becoming filled up(not that that has been a problem Wink) is to limit the clan members on my friends list. that is because your clan mates will show in the clan list as long as you stay a member. Hopefully that will help you clear up some space!

except that for now, Halo 2 is the only game supporting clans... the friends list applies to all XBL playable games... so removing people because they appear in your Halo 2 clan means you'll only see them in Halo 2, not any other game... for now at least. newer games will likely include clans. But right now, Halo 2 clans are only Halo 2... and I hope they don't make your clan applicable across all future XBL games... clans should be game dependent (and thus, friends list independent)

I do see friends listed on my clan list but not on my firends list playing other games, I wonder if they see me as being in Halo 2 at all?

Nobody said anything to me...

<wanders away, morosely singing> Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, guess I'll go eat...okay, never mind, nothing in the world could make me sad enough to eat worms.

I didn't see you online at all! You know I would invite you in half a heartbeat!

I also have router issues, so if I am on XBoxLive, I am not able to run an internet connection on my computer at the same time ...

I'm sorry! I did try to splatter him on Coagulation, though, as payback for all those damned payphones ... the bastard just giggled at me, however!

First, to Krystyn and Angelo who kept inviting me to their game even though I kept receiving the "You can not join. XBL is expeiriencing network problems" error message. Sorry if I wasted your time and thanks for the effort.

Its times like these when you are reminded of the unfortunate fact that the xbox was designed by the same people who designed Windows. Raspberry

If they have you added to their friends list, then yeah, they'll see you playing whatever game you're playing if it's Live-enabled. You just won't see them on any and all Live games unless they're on your friends list (barring game-specific clan listings)

boooo low blow. There's no proof it's not an error that anyone could have arrived at... but let's not turn this into a M$ vs World debate, of which I prefer to remain neutral Smile

Also, I think friends lists are reciprocal - it's not as if you allow someone to friend you, and they can see you only. You end up friending them in return.

yes, however, I'm almost positive that if one removes someone from their friends list, they themselves will still be listed on that person's friends list. Once you're on, you have to be manually removed from other lists. But on being added, you can also add the person to your own list.

Nope
Krystyn removed me from her friend's list a while back, and she dissapeared from mine.
Though that is my only evidence, I know I never removed her from my own list.
