Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Sooooooo much phun last night! Thanks all.

Sorry I wasn't able to get that last kill to stop twisted from winning the snipers round, I had Astald in my sights, but the round ended before I could fire. Sooooo close .....

Krystyn, you have the most infectious laugh. My favorite spot to be when defending against the mad hordes of zombies was anywhere near enough to hear the constant bursts of Krystyn giggles through proximity voice. There was once or twice I caught myself laughing so hard I didn't even realize the zombies were almost right on top of us.

EDIT
[OT] Ah, yes, I meant to mention (as I consider most who check here good friends whom I like to keep in the know) ... we found out last night that we're going to have a girl. Due date = May 23rd. My wife stayed up until who knows when last night (I went to be at 12:30 and she was still going strong) looking up girl names on the internet. She's already got the new paint color for the newly assigned "girl's room" picked out Rolling Eyes

Speaking of which, I'd love to get some suggestions as to some of your favorite names. To give you an idea of what kind of names we like, our son is named Brenden Jenner and our daughter is Kiera Renae (if you don't know our last name then you weren't paying very good attention to all of the news stories that came out about ilovebees Razz ).

weephun, I feel so bad yelling at you, then, while I was on the phone with Jinxie! It was hilarious - I totally couldn't hear you guys cos my earpiece was out of my ear (cos I was on the phone, natch!), but I did occasionally have to click on the mic and yell at whoever sniped a poor girl just STANDING there, as if that displayed your MAD SKIZZILZ or something ...

I wish I could've heard your responses! Esp. in the lobby afterwards. weephun, Jinxie and I were totally rooting for you! I finally found a good place to hide, and I kept hitting the start button to see your kills, and we were all, "go weephun! go weephun!" Hee hee. What was also hilarious was seeing weephun or Lame Chicken or someone take the lead early on, and after every kill I'd see Twizzler's name pop up on the audio display as talking. Hahahahaha!

Also, Silrn, you are a sweetheart for sniping me, listening to me yell at you, and then coming to find me where I re-spawned, and standing there until I could one-handedly aim the controller and snipe you in the face from two inches away. Very Happy That was so, so funny.

As for the zombies game, oh man! I did NOT like that game at first (I first played it a week or so ago? I don't remember). I don't know what changed, but maybe going on Zanzibar, and clustering together in the water like that made it more ... dynamic? It's like we truly were in some zombie movie - we'd see this flood of leapy green frog-like zombie dudes with glowy swords coming through and over the sea wall, and we'd pick them off, and occasionally, one of us would fall ...

Becoming a zombie was fantastic. Re-spawning, clustering together, and then fanning out in this leaping green mess of scariness, droning and yelling, "BRRRRRAAAAAAAAIIIIINSSSSS" was the most hysterical thing about last night. Oh man, I could not stop laughing.

And hey, congratulations, weephun and family! Goodness! You are certainly trying to corner the market on cute kids, aren't you?

Yah, sorry about that. When I'm playing snipers, I don't wait around to see if my target is moving or not, nor do I wait for the name to pop up above my reticle. Brain works more like: step 1: see anyone in reticle, step 2: fire madly until said anyone is dead or until ammo clip is spent, repeat. I really suck at headshots with snipers so I've found that this method is the only one for me that seems to work. Problematic with the beam rifle though as it constantly overheats on me Embarassed

Most of my responses were along the lines of "I'm trying to get the kills, if you would all just stop moving!" and "CRAP, Astald, where did you come from AGAIN!!!"
Don't remember what Twizzler [?Twisted?] was saying each time, I was having to concentrate pretty hard to stay in the lead, sorry.

What is hilarious to me are the 3 suicides on a snipers match. You people gotta be more careful where you're throwing those grenades Razz

There's a market???? Shocked How much are they going for? Razz Yah, they're pretty cute. Have to thank my wife for that one though.

Actually, that was our friend Mark, with the real Silrn (Mike) being the pious flea. I'll pass along the message though... they'll both be appriciative.

I think I would have liked it more if I wasn't one of the first to die EVERY SINGLE TIME. Granted, that was mostly my stupidity, but it was frustrating not being able to be on the red team. I don't think my psyche is built for that game.

Krystyn, when are you going to post pics of my fabulously placed warthog?

I was just coming back here to post that I forgot my camera at home! I kept telling myself to put it back into my bag to bring to work today, and of course, I left it sitting right by my controller, like an idiot.

Oh man, wait till you guys see what he did with that freaking warthog. We were trying to replicate something some matchmaking bastards pulled two nights ago, and, well, something went a little ... wonky. Hee hee.

I'm telling you, I do some CRAZY s*** with the ghosts and warthogs. I wish I knew how I did it, because it'd be TONS of fun to repllicate. But if you ever see someone flying across the map in a spinning warthog/ghost, that's probably me.

yay weephun! kids are cool

hey, i have a question about Live, i just got by xbox on Christmas (and i found out last night that i have to exchange it already, it started showing all textures as big blocks of splotchy color, from the xbox menu all the way into the games themselves Sad there goes all my progress)

at any rate, halo 2 comes with 2 months free live, the xbox came with 2 months free live, and the headset comes with a year paid in advance
i want to get the headset before i start playing, can i use one of the free offers and then add the pre-paid year onto that account, or is the 69.99 headset deal only good for new connects? (and you can't combine the two 2-month free offers, right?)

Man, I miss you guys! I keep telling myself to get on Live every night when I go home, but my schedule keeps upending itself with the holidays around, and I wind up having to do things till bedtime! I just want to fight off a horde of giggling zombies... is that so much to ask!?

Same here. I stayed up till midnight last night, and that was still early compared to some. I left my XBox on with my MC perched on top of a crane, so everyone could practice rocket-lunging at me. When I got finished getting ready for work this morning, TwistedMatt was still playing online. That guy is hard core!

Nope
Krystyn removed me from her friend's list a while back, and she dissapeared from mine.
Though that is my only evidence, I know I never removed her from my own list.

I accidentally removed her from my list while i was trying to send a message. I imagine my friend spot has already been replaced by somebody else... but im NOT in the evade^3 clan... so can i have my friends list spot, Krystyn?

Braiiiiiiins

Thanks to everyone for putting up with the noob last night (switch red? do I hit the red button to do that?). I had a blast with the matchmaking and brain eating and sword lunging and everything. Since I am taking the GRE tomorrow, I doubt I'll be back online til Saturday. Hope to see you all then.
