Butts aside, I would like to thank everyone last night for allowing my wife into the game. For those that didn't notice, CortA is her gamertag. Between my annoyance and the encouragement of Phaedra and Krystyn she has finally decided to join the XBL community. I have been working with her in Team Training to get her familiar with the game style and maps but she absolutely had a blast last night playing Zombies and Bumper Cars. Thanks for making her XBL experience a pleasant one.

Shocked

Kaber, hon, I might have to sticky you for not telling us that that was her. I would have liked to say hi and welcome and girl gamers unite and so on to her, at least.

Ditto! I was pretty harsh with one kill (no smack-talk, but just bum-rushing the poor thing!) - I would've been a bit more friendly-like about it, had I known!!!

Still, awesome!!!

See, even weirder in Elizabethan English, where you can simultaneously drown in punctuation and in th- sounds.

Infact, I was speaking with Dasro and his GF when they were here, and was saying we should put together a regular newbie night, where we can get Kate and Dasro's Kristen and all the other people we've been trying to get on, and have them play with us with little fear of getting slaughtered. It'd be nice if we could make it a regular thing, so they feel included, because I know I enjoy playing with them, even if it is with a sever handicap.

I am always up for initiating new people to Halo and anything that gets my wife online means more online mayhem for me Smile . Selfish but true.

I totally take responsibility for that and fully expect to be lit up like a Christmas tree with stickies next time Embarassed . She currently does not have a communicator but I plan on getting her one tonight with one of my Christmas gift cards. I did turn the voice output to speakers so she could hear everyone, though. When the "Brrrraaaiiiinnnnsssss" chants started she almost fell off the couch.

<giggle>

I love chanting "brrraaaaaiiiiiiinnnnnnssss." I especially love doing it in the middle of a sword lunge.

So far I've been fortunate to be one of those humans that gets killed about halfway through the population, so I get a good chunk of the time gunning in the 'hog or sitting in the water with shotgun at the ready, and then I get a nice chunk of being a zombie and moaning, "Braaaaiiiiinnnsss..." but this last time? I was pretty much the next-to-last or last person, and it truly is quite frightening and creepy and hilarious to have green glowy-sworded zombies all yelling, "Braaaaaaiiinnnnsss!!!" as they come at you. Especially when the proximity suddenly cuts in so you've got relative silence and shot gun blasts, and then a cacophonous chorus of the undead two seconds later!!

Phaedra, e-mail received! Rawk.

I am so using "cacophonous chorus of the undead" next time I have to write a music review...whether they sucked or not.

Gotta get Kate on when there's a zombie game.

After posting that, I thought, "when have I ever sent a short email?"

Master of the obvious, I am.

I really want to try this zombie game you all keep talking about. Any chance one could get going tonight? I'll probably be on from 8-10EST at least.

I know she would probably enjoy it, I'll try to get her on more once we're able to buy a nice big new tv Smile. On a completely unrelated note, I definitely don't want to move away from Halo 2 completely, but I would like to nominate that we have a night every now and then where we can all jump on a different game to play, just to mix things up.

I bought Ghost Recon 2 just before I left for vacation...That may be fun to try out. I suck pretty bad at it, can't even make it past the 1st mission. I also have ESPN NFL 2k5 and NCAA 2005. Then there is always good 'ole Crimson Skies.

Haven't had much of a desire to play video games lately, so I'm not sure what I'll be up to. All I can think about now is going out to a mountain and snowboarding, I can't wait until the weekend Very Happy

Mechassault 2 is fun. Just got it, but with no beekeepers to play with it's been a bit neglected... Wink
