I think I can be on at 7 EST tonight. My daughter's bedtime is usually the magic time when I start playing (she's not allowed to play or to watch), but I think there's some TV show that she's dying to watch tonight, so I can start Halo earlier. Ordinarily, look for me around 8:30 EST.

I normally rely on bungie.net to see who is online before I bother moving my ethernet cable over to the xbox, and lately their friends list feature has been spotty at best.

Lately?? I ALWAYS had problem with that feature ..... Great idea, but not implemented very well!

Oh, when you least expect it, we're back on topic!!! Laughing

I agree totally. It's a very cool feature, but rarely ever works. Surprises the heck out of me when it does. It would be really cool not only if the friends list worked, but if you could check out your clan list from the site, too.

Heh yeah when it works I do a dance of joy.

OK, not really. But it does make me happy and strikes me as a really nice system when it does work. I'm kind of surprised Bungie has never addressed it in a weekly update column.

It is nice to know I'm not the only one its problematic for though.

/me caters to the jack-mode

I know Kristin Rutherford had to see it alone because she couldn't find anyone that wanted to see it with her; I haven't seen it yet, but I really, really want to while it's still in theaters.

She couldn't? She should have asked me. I would have gone with her...oh, wait. California. Maybe not.

I still desperately want to see it.

I should be on tonight around 9 EST (after Lost is over).

Lost is a great show. That's why I'm not online after 8 on Wednesdays. Actually I always record Lost and watch Smallville at 8, then watch Lost after that. Those are the only two TV shows that I watch and they both have to come on on wednesdays at 8:00. Crying or Very sad

I think that ABC could create an ARG similar to Lost. The premise is flexible enough.

I agree that the friends list feature is pretty spotty. It almost never works for me, though I think that it is a an Xbox Live/passport link problem.

INCyr, thanks for all the invites in the past and the ones to come in the future!

I was just talking to Dasro yesterday, I really really want to see this movie! I'll probably watch it tomorrow, while it's still on!!

And I got Hero on DVD today, which Dasro says is a very bad transfer ... I was having very high hopes for this transfer! Mad

It is a bad transfer.

I tried, and tried, and tried to get my father to go see it with me in the theatre, because I knew he would love it. I ended up seeing it three times, but never with him.

Then, it comes out on DVD, and he's like, "Oh! I wanted to see that."

Seeing it on the small screen was...disappointing. It should be big, oversized, like the story, so you can soak in the ridiculous gorgeousness of it all.

Which is why I really want to see House of Flying Daggers in the theatre. Desperately.

And thank you for the medal, Fenwicked. I will wear it proudly...er...look at it proudly.

It was supposed to start in December in Brazil! Since I was going to be there, I was telling everybody back home how good the movie was and I was planning to take my mom, which I'm sure would love it! Well, it still didn't start! It's supposed to start now in March .... Mad

I guess this dvd will be the final test for my htpc! Let's see if it makes things better ...

Oh, shoot, I wish some of you guys had been around last night: Chuck Blevens, the XBox/MS guy that was at the Chicago training event, was on, and joined a few matchmaking games along with a co worker?/buddy? of his. It was fun.
