Seeing it on the small screen was...disappointing. It should be big, oversized, like the story, so you can soak in the ridiculous gorgeousness of it all.

When I bought my LCD projector, that was one of the first DVDs I watched. I never saw it in the theater, but I was pretty impressed. Course, I did watch it in 106 inches of glory!

Interesting, but I'd rather play with you guys, than someone I barely know. Of course, I'll have to make the effort to get online. I'd like to know when some of the infrequent players are online. I know who I see regularly, but who shows up only rarely? When could I catch them online?

I was doing some clan matches (a rarity for my group to actually be online) which is why I didn't join in with the friends request. Though that would've been awesome.

heh, you sound like Data or something.

He was such a nice guy at the combat training, though, and a really decent player. It was cool!

Dude! I was just wondering if any of us had Chuck's gamertag from his business card.

That's cool that he was on the other night. Sorry I missed it.

Darn internet went down last night! Stupid Qwest!

Ah well, at least I got caught up on the BattleStar Gallactica and XMEN (yes, the cartoon that I still watch) that I had recorded. Man, I love TIVO!

And tonight, I'll try to go watch House of Flying Daggers, so no Live for me ... I'll make sure to be there on Friday though!

Wow, I've been busy, and this thread has been swamped, as usual.
Yes, the friends list bug is not a Bungie problem, but and xbox live/passport problem, as someone else mentioned. You can actually access your friends list from the xbox live page as well, and it has the same "disappearing list" issue. I wish they would fix it, it always seems to have a problem when I need it.

I really wanted to see House of Flying Daggers in theaters, and I didn't get to, and now it is gone in Raleigh SadSadSad. That's pretty much what happened for me with Hero too. And yes, as I was telling waters, and you can read here (shameless plug) the dvd transfer quality of hero is very grainy with compression errors. It deeply upset and saddened me.

I think the name was "demise of the pheonix" or something along those lines. Not that if you hadn't seen it there would be much we could do about it. Unless you just happen to be moving to Boise too Rolling Eyes
