I dunno, the party was closed while you were in it, too. The majority of people seemed to want matchmaking, which is why that was the case. There was no personal slight towards anyone involved in setting the party to Closed, I can assure you.

In better news, If Delta Force: Black Hawk Down really does end up supporting 50 people in the same game, we are so getting it.
You have got to be kidding me. That would be cool if they can make it work well, but I don't even want to imagine the lag in that game. Or the radio chatter.

So my takeing off early last night to go to fencing practice turned out to be more productive in Halo goodness than i would have thought. Turns out i know a guy that works for Bungie.... Yeah i was shocked too. so of course the pumping of information ensued. Unfortunatly he is as good at avoiding direct responces to my questions as he is at parrying my best attacks. So nothing solid to go on. The one thing that i did come away with was about the comeing updates. There are going to be several new levels as we know, but he seemd to alude to more than that. With a half cocked smile he said that Halo 2 would be MORE fun. which leads me to think that there will be something in addition to just putting out new levels, what that is i have no idea. I have of course added him to my friends list.

What do you fence? Watches? Rings? *grins* (Seriously, Epee, foil, sabre?)

And are you gonna introduce him to the rest of us? Wink

I hope so, i sent him a friend request last night, but as he lives in seattle he had a bit of a drive to get home to accept it...

As for Vash, did you guys tell him to shut up at all? I could not tell, so I left after he was booted (and the party mysteriously closed) because everyone immediately started talking about him in a negative fashion.

Whoever said Matt brought him in was wrong.

It was Quo Vadimus, Ermac and Fauxhammer (who btw is back from a recent trip to Mexico).

Anyways, he admits he can go over the top. But he'd appreciate someone telling him to shut up than taking cheap shots at him after he's been booted without warning.

In the postgame lobby, he was describing a death animation he saw after a snipe that he found interesting. He wasn't bragging about the kill.

Anyways, that whole night was kind of a slap in the face.

After all, all OUR team did (myself too at times) was sing the Mission Impossible theme the entire game, so I can't see how we weren't just as annoying...
Aye. I sent him a message a few days apologizing for it, as I was the one that kicked him. I made the kick because I got multiple messages about it, but I should've definitely just given a warning, and I didn't. I certainly realize that it was wrong, and I'm very sorry for it. Vash really is a good player, and he always has a good attitude, and I don't want him to feel like he can't play with us.

Ok pure specualation to follow. Perhaps the downloadable content is not limited to multiplayer? Perhaps they will give you that one last level of campaign that we were all waiting for but never got. It would follow with Frankie's hint of "Timetable" in last week's Weekly What's Update. As in the downloadable content would include all the stuff that they didn't have time to complete in their initial Timetable for the production of the game.

We had 12 people in the room though AFTER Vash left though, so we were still a ways from matchmaking, but it doesn't matter.

ThaJinx, thanks for understanding. I know he's a little rough around the edges, and as party leader you have the option to boot for a reason. It just seemed like it was a little fast.

It was a good game, wasn't it? Multi Flag on Waterworks with a final score of 3-2? Very Happy

Well, Silrn and I are having a LAN party tonight, so hopefully we'll be on, along with Tom and Chappy... so everyone else should get on!

Durn it! I was out of town.

One of those messages was from me.

He was asked multiple times by multiple people to stop the jabbering. I even went so far as to take the time (during which I was killed repeatedly due to my lack of attention to the game) to tell him why I would appreciate the noise level subsiding (needing to coordinate, having no idea what was going on, and the fact it was just plain bugging me) though I have my doubts if he heard any of it as he never stopped talking throughout most of it. I've never in my life played with someone who talked as non-stop as he did, and ALWAYS using the team speak option, thereby removing all capability for coordination for the rest of the team.

He is a great player, he seems to really excell in his ability to kill and I'm sure he'd make a great addition to a team if he would just learn that a large part of team work is communication. He'll probably learn someday, but somebody else will have to tell me when he does because he's the only person in the history of my playing on Live that has ever gotten on my nerves enough to be muted.

Oh ye of lightning-fast, game-honed reflexes, would you mind doing me a favor to advance this little ARG I'm playing?

There are little pesky colored dots flying around in circles. When you get your mouse pointer over one, it turns to a clickable link, but I haven't been fast enough to click it. Would you guys try?

checking the source is easier Wink

The links only lead to "4nswc" and "intruly," but typing those in on their own, as they appear in the source code, receives a 404.
