I'll be there for skirmish. But seriously, Vash is an amazing sniper, thats why he only has two deaths alot of times is becasue he can anyone from any distance with that thing, so that don't get clsoe enough to kill him. The amount of deaths is not a good way to count your skill becasue I have tons of games where I've died bunches, but most my deaths were needed and not useless dying. You have to take that into account.
Number one thing for tonight *Glares at Waters* Check your icons when there is is only a short amount of time left, if they seem to be far away, contest the best you can and don't run in guns blazing and try to grab for it. Exclamation Exclamation Very important lesson, because I've lost numerous games from that, sometimes my fault and sometimes other peoples fault. But it's shitty because sometiems that measn the difference between winning and losing.

Ps. I killed Vash!

Honestly, when I snipe if I'm moving I'm also more effective than when I'm standing still. That's why I'm so good at Coagulation and not as great at smaller levels, such as Ascension or Beaver Creek. As for an all snipers match on Coagulation, I love those. All you have to do is stick to the low ground and when you expose yourself to a possible snipers spot, look it over and if it seems clear expose yourself to another and check that one out if that ones clear then expose yourself to another and rinse and repeat. I circle the map doing this, my primary targets are camping and spawn camping snipers, they're just fun to kill and they get so pissed. Laughing As for look sensitivity, go with what you're comfortable with, as for me I'm a 10 but other snipers, that are just as good or better than me, use lesser sensitivities such as 5 or 6. As I said it's all what you're most comfortable with. My only problem is getting to close to the enemy with the rifle and getting killed, but I'm fixing this two ways. I'm not rushing in and I'm practicing no scopeing. Lastly, Ubercado and Krystyn, you've both gotten much better with that damn thing, I can't even count the number of times that both of you have given me a headache while sniping you and your team mates.

Where were you?? We ended up playing BTB ... I'm still hungry for some skirmish ... We got 1 last skirmish, but it was tie, as most of the games tonight. And due to some strange glitch, Thunder and I couldn't hear Dasro at all ...

So true!

Let me ask something a bit (or a lot) off-topic. Does anyone use voice over IP with xbox Live? I mean one of those companies like Vonage that gives you a box that connects to your modem and you can plug your regular phone to it.

I'm really thinking about switching my regular phone service to one of those! They have some really good deals and from what I've researched, voice quality is not bad at all.

I just want to make sure it won't screw up Xbox Live (in particular Halo). Anyone with experience on this?

I have a Vonage adapter and a Packet8 adapter plugged into my 802.11b (10Mbit) wireless router, which is plugged into a cable modem. I run XBox Live over a wireless gaming adapter (really just a wireless Ethernet bridge). I have the Packet8 adapter plugged into the home phone wall plug, and the home phone line is disconnected from the Telco at the point it enters the house. Vonage quality is good. Packet8 quality is mixed --sometimes great, sometimes echoes and static, but that could be because I have the phone adapter plugged into the home phone network. I haven't noticed any more problems with XBox Live when I'm talking on the (VoIP) phone line.

Remember to get a referral for service from myself or someone else who has it; you and your referrer will get a free month of service or something for the referral.

Thanks, Clayfoot!

I don't know what a Packet8 adapter is, but I'm guessing you use this to distribute the VOIP to all phone outlets in your house. Is that it? If it is, I wouldn't need it, cause I use those phones with multiple handsets.

I'm actually thinking about getting Lingo. With Lingo, I can get a Brazilian number, so family/friends can call me while paying local calls! That would be just awesome! The problem is it seems Vonage is better than Lingo ... So if I go with Vonage, I'll certainly refer you cause I don't know anybody else that has it.

(why dont you just put that in you signature. You use it about as much as one, and scream it in game all the time.)

Your partly right about the reason im a good sniper. Do you remember that time you tryed to kill me on the lightside rige on coag? (if this isn't you sry) You came at me with an smg and i knew you were coming cus of the radar, and i no scoped you. I let you get too close but i came out alive. I dont think it is hard to kill 2 or even 3 ppl coming at me from a semi long mid range distince. What i find to be a pain is getting that banshee coming out of the base piletted by a person i had sniped at their spawn. I'm not gunna tell you my strat for that but I will say it is vary hard to pull of and i think i have done it 3 out of 4 or 5 times.

This isn't as hard for me, I think because my lookking sensitivity is set at 7. I have tryed 10 and i can use it if i practice with it but im not going to be as good as i am now with a higher sencitivity.

I have Packet8. It's just like Vonage or any other VoIP provider. Clayfoot just decided to wire his whole house to use VoIP instead of just one phone (like they were designed for). I have had no problems running VoIP and Xbox live, but I don't recommend using them at the same time unless you have the bandwidth to support it. Otherwise your phone calls will sound like you are on a cel phone with a bad connection (which is technicly close to what's happening). I've never heard of Lingo so let me know how that works. I'm always looking on how to save the most $$.

What's your connection? I wonder what's good enough. I have 384k upload/5mb download. There will be occasions where I'll be on Live, wife will be on the phone while downloading/browsing computer. It happens quite often actually.

Meh. I have 3Mb total, so you have more than enough. The only time I notice consistent problems with XBox Live is when I'm downloading mass quantities on the PC, ala BitTorrent.

I've used ten since day one of Halo 1, If you get good at it and can control the high speeds it is amazingly helpful, especially for sniping and when your getting shot at from somewhere you can't see. If you have it set all low then you are completely screwed when someone comes at you from your back, but I almost never die without at least taking down the guys shields thanks to the high speed. Cool
Oh and the signiture is offically fixed!
