I wasn't saying to copy the maps themselves. I was saying to copy your Xbox Live tag to the mem card. Then load that account on another xbox and see if it still charges you for the DLC on the new box, or if it's somehow marked as already being paid.

Nope, it charges you.

I have my account on both Silrn's and my boxes, (and vice versa) so that we can just load up either box when we want to play. I bought the maps on my box, and tried it on is... no go.

Re: Maps

That said, I'd like to get some folks together to just explore these maps, without a lot of gunfire. I think there is some definite potential to get up on the high in Turf, out of the level in Warlock, and up on top of structures in Sanctuary. That, and looking at Carney's face in Containment. Smile

cyphermage was trying to do just that with some of his friends last night, but they started inviting random people, and then the killing started, which is why i gently suggest to him not to invite his friends when he comes in with me in a beekeeper game. There's alot more of us, and i don't want to lock anyone out (not to mention the fact that some of his friends are quite annoying)
yeah, i'd like to just explore the maps with a group of people tonight or tommorow (exploring is so much more fun with others, i felt "lonely" while wondering around Containment by myself)

cypher and i later fired up his "hit n' run" game on Containment with just the 2 of us, and each side got 2 warthogs or spectres. is this normal practice, or was it due to the fact that we had all the vehicular options turned on? it seemed like with 8 people on a side, all thove vehicles would come in handy and gihugicness of the map would be cut down.

Clayfoot, that's all well and good, but why doesn't anyone else in the lobby cop to those people being on their friends lists?

Why are those people on anyone's friends lists? Heh!

I like exploring and everything. But 1 game with a few people works pretty well. For example, I was exploring Turf with Grifter and Ubercado for a while and we found some weapons spawn points, I got killed by a spawning hog right on top of me Laughing , and gained some experience on the layout. Then we started a game of oddball with only 4 guys. Just a casual, no worries game. It helped to learn how to use parts of the map during combat situation.

Oh, well if we're voting I loved containment. Or, maybe I just loved being with Beekeepers after about a month of nothing but the annoying groundlings of XBL. Maybe the magic was always IN YOU!

Either way, it was fun.

Not sure. It could be that there are people in your clan or friends list that you don't really know. If you invited all of them, you might get some surprises. For that matter, if you brought your party along with the invitation, it may be that one of your party members has outstanding invites that your party now must honor.

Getting up to different places using normal techniques like sword flying and head jumping*as used in foundation*

Sanctuary
Getting on top of center structure, done by me and Siege88, ust jump off someones head or host can grenade jump.
Getting on top of either waterfall, deemed impossible, invisible wall, we sword flew up there and still couldn't get thru.

Wizard/Warlock
We got up on the outcropping structures of all four bases, the side and middle but not much farther then that, pretty sure there is an invisable wall on the third floor.

Turf
Scarab arm and surrounding buildings are nearly impassable as well becaue of invisable walls, but you can get up on the one side of the swining doors, not the med hut side, but only so far up, more invisable walls.

Containment
No go for almost anything fun, you can get up on the two outcroppings farthur out from the bases with a banshee, and climb a few of the walls in the base with just a few jumps. Everything else is blocked off by invisable walls. I tried to roll launch myself out of a banshee and I always hit a wall and bounced back down.

If anyone comes up with any other places they can go, let me know, I crave to explore Wink But sadly most everything is blocked off by those walls
Sad *tear* I'm going to explore some more tonight, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get past those things.

sometimes beekeeper X will invite aquaintance Y, who then in turn brings or invites friend Z. then Y drops out, and Z is still there with no obvious connection to anyone else.
After which Z himself may invite ohm, theta, and sigma, and now the whole party is just a mess.

I love all 4 of these new maps.

I must say though, when we get closer to May 19th, we should play some 32 player STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT!!1!

FWIW, some kid last night said that he already knew how to "get out of" Containment. A few people asked him how, but I never caught the answer, if there was one.

Bah, don't believe anyone till they show me personally. Thats why I have to get out of the levels and do all the cheats and everything that anyone comes up with in matchmaking by myself in a custom game, I have to know how it works, I can't just take someones word on it. So if ya catch up to the kid again give him my gamertag.

I can say that I started trimming my friends list this weekend. Anyone who sent me a "don't delete this message or I'll be removed from your friends list..." got deleted.

Only one or two, and they weren't Beekeepers or meatspace friends. But there is a severe penalty for triggering the Stupid powerup.

What's happening May 19th? (just asking, 'cause there happens to be a copy of Battlefront in the house, I believe.)
