I'll be runnin a game eventually as well with the paid maps. I found a nice sanctuary sniper spot that's too easy to get to.

I was only able to make the first leap to the impossibly tiny pipe last night, after that its 3 more hops to the top. It's almost impossible to describe though.

Yeah, it's pretty tough! I find the first jump, to get to the pipe, the hardest one! You have to go forward for a split second before you press the jump button for the second jump. When you watch Dante doing it, you can notice he moves forward before jumping and you get a good feel of the timing.

After that game on Containment, I still don't like it much. Not only because we got our asses kicked Mr. Green ! I still think the map is too big, with an obvious route, the teleporter. It was clear that getting the flag through the teleporter didn't guarantee you a capture, but it was still better than trying to run the flag through tunnels or any other route. I'm hoping that when the map goes to matchmaking, other strategies will show up and the maps becomes more balanced. Still remains as my least favorite one.

Oh, and I know some people have their reasons for not buying the paid maps, but I've gotta say I'm tired of playing Warlock! It was one of my least favorite maps on Halo1 (only ahead of damnation and chiron), and the upgraded visuals didn't do much to make it better. I'm not trying to convince people to buy the other maps (ok, I'm trying a bit! Mr. Green ), but I can't say enough how Turf and Sanctuary are awesome! I agree with Uber that sniper is a bit overpowerful on Sanctuary, but I still like the possibilities on that map!

Oh wait...that didn't sound to friendly, did it? Anyways, I don't hate him, hell he helped me out today, I just had the idea, I still needed him to actually stand still so I could launch him up there!

Umm note the bold words(i changed).... he likes to think its a rivalry but we are on different skill levels. His is alittle under par I will say. Also he is the one who started this

I think he did so he has a high goal to get to. I think Matt and I had the same thing for a while. But he would almost always win(even though i would never say it if he was around...or if any one elts was eather). This sounds just like it but Dante(not Donte, as I have been corrected of so many times Wink ) started it, and I am starting to hate him because he will go after me then YELL "BAD VASH" when he would think he had me. He did some times but not enough so he would get the bad out then the v sound and he would cut out would cut..... You can't help but lol when some one can finish a threat or some taunt. It's just funny.

Any way I found like 4 or 5 sniper spots on Turf. I have shown 1 to most of you... one uber(cado) showed me, and the rest some german guys and I found. PLZ keep them to an "in the clan(s) bases"! Don't tell your freinds just cuz they ask!!!
Also Donte... you know you can't keep sniper spots a secret if you use them. Every time you shoot someone is gunna look to see were the smoke leads.

And Waters... You know when I asked "where are you from" you could have said " I hail from spai.. I mean Brazil, but I live in Detroit" that could have saved a lot of people a "high light" of their week... but it was funny I do admit.

HUGE thanks to everyone last night who sent me invites. I kept getting the unable to connect due to network problems error message. I hope it wasn't too much trouble and I really do appreciate the effort.
As always, great to play with Beekeepers and while Warlock may not be Waters favorite map, I believe it certainly is a nice change of pace like Midship for Oddball, Crazy King, and others. I do agree Containment is a bit large even for 8 on 8 but I absolutely love the open area combat and the trench and obstacles that allow you to move without too much sniper interference. My biggest complaint about Coagulation is that if you are in the middle of the map you are nothing more than sniper fodder. These maps absolutely demand teamwork. Thanks again, especially to Krystyn who I am sure gets annoyed at times by the volume of messages she gets.

Ha! You asked me before where I was from and I said I'm from Brazil ... (Not Portugal, Jinx!! Raspberry ). I never said I was living there ... If you're following the hivemeet, you'll see I'll be there. Did you really think I'd fly all the way from Brazil? I really want to meet beekeepers, but that would be pretty extreme! Cool

Oh, no doubt it's a change of pace! But we've been playing a bit too much for my tastes. I wouldn't mind playing Lockout, Zanz and Ascension once again, just to mix things up. They are "old", but still pretty cool!

kaber, I was more than happy to try and get you into a lobby.

The only thing that ever really frustrates me about the messages I receive is ...

OK, two things.

1) That sometimes I do not see or do not get the notification on my screen that someone has messaged me, and so they think I am ignoring them. Trust me, I don't want to ignore anyone, unless they're being a putz, in which case, I am sure they can handle it. So, no one ever frustrates me by sending lots of messages. I like making sure people get to play and have fun with other beekeepers, you know? It's just that the system can be unwieldy for speedy retrieval and invite-sending.

2) this is not directed at kaber, incidentally, but to pretty much everyone: if you want an invite, simply send, "i?" I can read it easily, thus enabling me to forgo having to ask the lobby to quiet down so I can listen to a full-size message that essentially equate to, "I want an invite." gilada is hilariously guilty of these long messages, and I keep teasing him about it, and he keeps doing it: "Hey there, krystyn, this is gilada, AKA SizableManowar, and it's about 10:20 PM on Thursday, and I was wondering if I could get an invite?" It is only his drunken smackdowns of idiots we meet in matchmaking that keep him from experiencing my wrath, I tell you.

The "i?", btw, is a Mathboy/4dswisscheese invention, if I am not mistaken. I love it. I encourage you all to use it.

Now, obviously, if you have other information to impart, do so by audio, but speak clearly, and if possible, you can even over-enunciate, if the person you're sending the message to is in a full lobby. The sharper you make your consonants, the easier it is to pick out your message over the insane chatter that is still occurring in the lobby 99% of the time. kaber, I understand that you send audio because of your network issues, and that is totally fine with me!

I have gotten a few of the "i?" msgs... and i think it would be best. I think we should have the atached voice msg for things you can't type well... like sarcasem and funny commets/quotes.

They really should mute all players on the pre-lobby so you can listen to messages ... But since it's not there, I'll start using the "i?: message ...

I don't usually msg Krystyn anymore. Not because I have anything against her or anything. It's just that I know she's usually flooded with msgs, so I pretty much send msgs to other people, like Jinx, Thunder, Clayfoot, INCyr and others. And I usually send messages to two people on the group, just in case. I think it works best this way.

Is there any way we can get you to work for Xbox Live? I would bet that you would be great for user interfaces and testing Laughing Maybe they can insert a cheat code that automatically sends an invite request to Krystyn. XYA>>{crouch} Better yet, maybe a macro button on the new 360 controllers.

Vash - I can not see your avatar
