Frankie gets all the best quotes Very Happy

Yep. Often I will lose, go back into the lobby and have someone berate me for losing. "You suck man, I owned you!!!"

Now this sort of confuses me, because normally a victory would make someone happy. But no. We live in a world where folks are sore winners AND losers. I blame parents and teachers for telling kids that they're ALL special. They're NOT all special. Newsflash, some of you are mediocre, and some of you are actually really crappy kids with bad manners and not much in the way of brains. When your mom tells you that you can be anything you want to be? She's totally lying dude. You're going to be working the graveyard shift and living in a loveless marriage in a bad part of town before you know it. Up to your eyes in debt, the closest thing you'll have to a friend will be the repo guy who just came to repossess that lemon of a Buick you bought. What were you thinking? And all because you couldn't keep your mouth shut after you won a game of Halo 2

What all you guys said.

And it's so true. I find that people like that exist outside gaming, too, but they aren't nearly as good at what they do so they have less chance to be that way to us, the peoples with skillz... (Might have something to do with why they relish it online so much.)

I'm going to like at least one thing about Perfect Dark Zero: No proximity voice. You can only talk to your teammates.

Between that, maps that change based on party size, and the ridiculously high upper limit on players in a game that every single person who plays online could get in, I think it could be a really good game to play for those who get a 360 (prior to Halo 3, that is).

The bots were one of the absolute best parts of the original Perfect Dark. I hope they have them.

Interesting side note: I've recently installed XBList to monitor who is online from my friends list. I found out tonight that if someone sends me an invite while I'm running that program, it shows up in the list! So if I'm not online and you need someone to fill out a party, especially in the evening, drop me an invite. If I'm at my computer I'll see it.

I hope perfect dark ends up being as cool as it has the potential to be.

In a completely unrelated to anything side note, for any of you interested in hearing more from a certain Janissary James (Bwahaha, who isn't), Kari Wahlgren did english voicework for one of the main characters, Fuu, on Samurai Champloo, the new anime from Shinichiro Watanabe, the director of Cowboy Bebop. It's currently airing on Cartoon Network's adult swim...they will be rebroadcasting the first episode this friday night at 12:30, and will be showing episode 2 Saturday night at 11:30. I thought the first episode was absolutely excellent (Thank goodness for my DVR), so if you're interested, it's well worth a watch.

Yay! We had some matchmaking fun tonight!

Unfortunately, I suck about 10 times worse than I did back when I only sucked a little... so now my suckitude is absurd. I managed to stab a flag grabber once... but that was roughly the extent of my worth.

Hmm... I'll have to throw my hat in. Gamertag: SamuraiSoldier

I haven't played Halo 2 in a couple of months, but from what I've heard, all the gameplay tuning was almost exactly to my gameplay style. I'm pretty exclusively a team player though.

I've been busy playing Midnight Club 3 and probably will be for another couple weeks, but if you see me online in Halo 2, give me a shout.

Apologies to Clayfoot

Clayfoot - sorry about missing the pinky swear. When we were in the pre-game lobby my wife came into the room so I took my headset off to talk to her for a minute. When I turned back to the tv, I was alone in the lobby. I assumed you went to play some big team battle with the others so I went into some matchmaking. Lesson learned - never talk to wife again. That's okay; I really shouldn't have used the pinky swear. That was out of line.
