Tonight after all but four left, we played a team training game. I had a really crappy day, and lemme tell ya, a game like http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?panel=stats&gameid=206563296&player=DanteThePoet]this can really make some one's night. I only hit 78 shots, and still I had 34 kills, that's barely two shots a head. I didn't even have the sword for very long!!! That, is one of my most memorable games, especially because I was in stitches thanks to sizables random monologue throughout the game. It was hilarious!

Thanks for putting up with my idiocy earlier. Haven't done much tricking around before, so a lot of the stuff (e.g. sword cancel) was sort of new to me. I've gotten pretty decent at that jump from the bombed-out building to the roof balcony though Very Happy Would've stuck around for longer but I had to meet my friend at the movie theater for Batman Begins (very good btw.)

Probably won't see me around for a little while either, I'm out of town Thursday thru Sunday, but I'll see you guys around sometime or another. I still owe krystyn a RL assassination... Twisted Evil Wink

Hey, what'd I do???

You actually did AWESOMELY with the tricking, btw. The trouble was, everyone else outside the map was using team speak even though they were often right next to the person they were chatting with, so it probably seemed like people trying to give you the next step to do were impatient with you, when it was really that we were trying to talk over the chatty cathy spartans who are obsessed with hitting team speak every time they open their mouths. Smile

Oh, wait, now I remember what I did. Look, if I go hitting you in the face, and then you TURN AROUND at the last second, I'm not gonna be hitting you in the face any more, mmkay?

Waaaaaah, I'm sorry. Heh heh.

We, um, had overshields! What could possibly go wrong?

OH YEAH, turning around on me, that's what!

Look, I fail to see how this is really my fault ...

I DID, however, mean to kill Dante as many times as I did. Admittedly, he totally let me.

Dante the only reason you didn't shoot that much is because you stuck and beatdown everything that was close to you.

I was trying to run away from you. You know, to avoid being BASHED IN THE HEAD. Wink

ok, so, maybe running away from the person with the rocket launcher ISN'T such a great idea... but.. um, well... she still started it! Wink

Well, June is going by faster than I expected.

I'll be in Chicago for the annual ALA conference next week, from Thursday the 23rd (day after my birthday, incidentally) through late in the day on Sunday the 26th.

I'll be busy with conference stuff, and hopefully finding a job, most of the time obviously. But if any Chicago-area beekeepers are interested in sharing a meal sometime, let me know. Thursday afternoon/night is probably my best bet for being free.

I'm staying at a hotel right downtown, so that's the area I'll be in the whole time.

I have entered the mobile world with this here notebook-thingy, and it is good. Any suggestions on things I should get for this laptop?
