I'm going to be attempting to pick up the map pack today, so I'll probably just be screwing around on the maps tonight if I get a chance.

As soon as somebody actually gets the disk, let us know what the cinematic and extra documentary are. I'm just wondering if it's actually worth picking up for $20 or if I should just get the $12 download .... or maybe just wait the 2 months until they're $0.

Just a reminder, guys, that tomorrow is Bungie Day. 07/07 is an unofficial fan-driven holiday each year that usually involves mass quantities of online play and reminiscing about things of Bungie Past.

As an added bonus, there's an easter egg on Zanzibar to comemmorate the day... when playing on the map on July 7, look at the "NO SWIMMING" signs for a treat. The signs also change for other holidays that I was too stupid to search before posting... will edit this post with the others (and linkage) soon.

Edit: HBO news post on its discovery last Christmas... looks like it kicks in New Years', Bungie Day, Halloween, and Christmas Day.

being the horrible employee that i am, I have just taken an extra break from being bored and walked to game store and now have the map pack in my hot little pocket. So I will be on tonight to run around and stick some one with something blue. I may have some tagalongs but we will see, my apartment is hot so I may not want to be there.

I like making Land of the Dead references in zombie games. And blowing myself up as a dirty, dirty way to keep from getting zombed. Surprised no one ended it there.

Other things I liked:
Tanktacular start to Containment, Hell, the fact that I had like 5 people held up for about 2 minutes just by standing in a tunnel and taking potshots with the carbine. Containment is still one of my favorite maps, I really wish I got to play on it with large groups more often.

Bantering with Jinx while trying to (Sgt.?) slaughter each other.

Relic. Just, in general.

Not liking:
A distinct lack of Elongation American Gladiators.

Confused by:
The Phaedra lj/message board/IRC bot infecting Xbox Live, apparently.
