The other night we had a mini-reunion of Team Unstoppable!

Me, INCyr, Waters, and Clayfoot in a special guest appearance.

I'd forgotten how much fun I used to have in 4v4 games.

Last night, I logged on and hopped right into big team matchmaking all by myself. It was fun, because even though we ended up stalemate in a 2flag CTF on Coag, I felt like I was a major contributor to us actually getting the flag a significant distance, and helping to stop the enemy scum from marring the lovely crisp cel shading of our own beautiful banner with their dirty untrained Spartan paws.

What was hilarious was hanging out in the basement, hearing their 'hog drive up, and seeing the leetle red dot of a guy coming into the basement. So, I stayed still, tossed a frag grenade in his path, and pinged 'im once in the head with the BR. Deaded.

Then, his driver, after several seconds of deliberation, decides to try for it himself. I walk out in view of the entrance, and he opens fire on me with the BR. I plop another 'nade at his feet, ping twice with the BR, and he falls down. Just then, the sniper drops from above and says, a bit incredulously, "Did you just kill all of them?"

"Yeah."

"Maaaaaan! I wanted to do that!"

"Sorry!" I chirped, and went to go scout rocket re-spawn.

Good times.

Oh, and Woody actually went to the sto' to get tape, so a reprisal of his attempt to bind his broken headset to his head with the elastic waistband of his boxers won't likely be any time soon.

When I talked to him on the phone, he groused, "Yyyyeah, my ass is still too big. I gotta go to Ralph's."

I feel depressed that I can't join in on the fun. It sounds like every one is having a fun time on live and it just started after I lost my acc. Crying or Very sad If anyone can help me out with 2 free months or whatever It would be vary well received. I will hopfully have a 360 in 3 months but I need a job to make that happen.
Its good to hang out with everyone on Skype till then. Hope to see more ppl on there more often.

Till then I would love to get any tips on new or good args that are starting. I have never done an arg when it was going on and would like to see how it is.

Twas fun last night...although my friend "sportman" said it was he who accidentally booted Tsuki that one game. It brought up the dialogue box for some reason while he was in the middle of respawning.

Nevertheless now I really want to play more Halo 2 Razz

Last night was fun - we gathered enough people together to do some custom games, and it really is interesting to see how much the Sunshine variant changes peoples' tactics. Thunderclap is totally formidable and TOTALLY ANNOYING.

Just a reminder -- in custom games with a majority of Beekeeper-types, you're going to find that spawn-killing at your opponent's base will get you a LOT of bad karma.

Yes, spawn-killing is absolutely a valid tactic, but save it for matchmaking. Amongst friends, especially with a lobby that's mostly Beekeepers, the assumption and expectation is that when you're specifically going to the other base for the express purpose of perforating newly-spawned Spartans in the head with your sniper, or filling them with shottie goodness, you're a Big Jerk, and Decidedly UnFun.

There are, of course, grey areas. Sometimes you chase someone down, and you end up back at their base. You hitch a ride in their Puma, and suddenly you're standing in the middle of a bunch of reincarnated Chiefs, and you have rockets. Mmm, enkillenated. That's all good - it happens.

Just, you know, don't climb on top of the soda machines and snicker quietly to yourself on Headlong, because you think it's funny to keep sending a friend of yours to the respawn screen. Over and over and over. Heh.

It was so good to see Ubercado last night! And Ubersaurus! Woot!

Damnit. We need some kind of beekeeper signal on a spotlight shining into the air.

No, wait. Something I would notice.

Just link your gamertag and use bungie.net or xbox.com to check to see who's on or download MSN Instant Messenger. That way you can see who's on live, playing what, and you can choose to join them or continue whatever it is that you're doing on the computer.

Team Uber tearin it up Very Happy

Between you folk tearing it up on Relic, those insane sticky tosses, and my ridiculously good game on Coag, I'd say it was a great night Razz

I'm so adding Sunshine onto my xbox playlist for the next LAN I attend.

Yeah, I've got that, but I need a solution based on push not pull.

Well, its not quite push, but here's something at least more everpresent.

Install the Yahoo Widget Engine: http://widgets.yahoo.com/

Then, grab the Xbox Friends Widget: http://widgets.yahoo.com/gallery/view.php?widget=38293

The list of who is online will appear on your desktop.
