That is actually a clan set up by atdt specifically for chicago beekeepers. I'll send you an invite.

Yay! That works, since the closest training event near me would've been Chicago (If only it hadn't been on a Thursday!!), I guess I kinda qualify...
Plus, yours is the best ILB clan name thus far... though I've got nothing against either of the other two, I just don't feel comfortable joining up with one and not the other.

Yah, OK, so I missed once, the rest of the time I managed to get it to land on top of the base. Almost crushed somebody with it even once.

piping in here... last night was definitely fun... glad I could entertain angelo by laughing or cheering over his smoldering corpse whenever I managed to kill him Razz somehow I find that very uplifting to be able to kill him... once for every 10 he kills me Razz man I suck now.

my weakness - slayer. If there's a goal other than just killing anything that moves, I tend to be better... I feel like I'm a good defender, but the strategizing on offense for me needs to improve (it's really easy just to rush in alone and hope someone else is working with you, because you don't want to 'waste time' chatting out a strategy or something). But for gameplay, my main problem is simply aiming... I'm sure people are getting of me saying it already, but having had to switch my movement and aiming thumbs has just devastated my accuracy... in intense firefights, I end up looking everywhere but the target because my right thumb is used to moving around quickly to avoid being hit... now it has to consciously slow down and focus on aiming while my left thumb does all the moving...

Priority 1: fast-paced aiming
#2: strategy, mainly offensive

so really for me, it's just a matter of keep playing until my thumbs are retrained... Laughing so it's always fun joining up for some skirmishes... the only time I really have the time to join and play for an hour or two are like from 11pm ET... my plans went longer than intended last night so I wasn't able to make it to training Sad but I caught the tail end of some blood baths Razz

and I'm still not a part of a clan Crying or Very sad

So you did that too? I was refering to somebody from the blue team that did this in our base while I was defending! I was going to get the banshee out of there, but somebody told me to leave it there cause it makes it harder for them to get the flag!

Yep, I pulled that once too Embarassed

Yes, especially now that you have to press X to pick up the flag. If a vehicle is lying over it it's very easy to accidentally get in the vehicle instead of picking up the flag.

I had many a good banshee fight with krystyn and hitshermark. phun stuph!

I could tell you found it uplifting. On colossis you and nova where about to make me wet my pants. Every time you guys would kill me I'd hear this hoot or laugh or 'heck yeah' like you just killed the worst terrorist on the face of the planet... I almost wanted to just run at you guys and let you kill me ... almost. Wink

I think I might be noticing a trend here. You guys love slayer... No, wait that's not it.

We'll definitely start having some more slayer training. I'm going to have to start thinking about what I do to be successful in slayer matches and trainers I'd urge you to do the same.

I had a blast with everyone last night and it was especially fun to get away from all the little kids who do nothing but curse as they run around and get killed. I was very impressed with everyone's gameplay (especially angelo on the sniper and weephun's stealth) and the teamwork of several of the players. I enjoyed the training as finding where all the weapons are and basic strategy is always helpful. I look forward to playing with you guys again and have already stolen my wife's Queen Helene Mint Julep Facial Mask for all future XBL encounters (I guess this helps with driving or something).

Sidenote: There was something inherently wrong with angelo using Krystyn as the shooting guinea pig. I felt compelled to jump to the aid of the fair damsel in distress.

Yeah, let me go off and think about what I do to be successful.

..Wait... I'm successful? In slayer?

Also, this just remembered from last night -- next time we decide to go pistols only, let's try and remember to turn off things with non-pistol weapons on 'em, like Warthogs and grenades, so it's not just a battle to see who can grab the vehicle first.

Ahh, yes, the vehicles kindof defeated the purpose of the pistols only match Smile. Which was fun, by the way. http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=7261198&player=Dasro%20Kast . I'll just say it's much better to be with Angelo than against him Laughing

well i know it's sort of cheap, but here's what works for me in slayer.

Somehow in Rumble Pit games, I always tend to run across pairs or trios of people duking it out. I sit back a bit and lob a grenade at them, followed by pretty much anything dual wielded. Voila, 2 more kills for me, or 1 if one of them is victorious against the other first.

I swear I don't hunt people out like this, I just keep finding them somehow.

That and rockets. Rockets get me lots of kills Very Happy

Yeah, it's not cheap, it's called "taking advantage of a profitable situation" Wink. That's works well in a no team match, in a team match it's better to grab a buddy and gang up.

I honestly believe everything is allowed on free for all games! That's the nature of the game! Everybody does that, so no problem! Specially since those type of kills will not guarantee you a consistent performance, thus high levels.

Exactly...man, you know what's crazy is free-for-all oddball. I got matched into one of those yesterday...that was messy.
