I'm envisioning "Sparten Bowling", where we have a bunch of people standing like pins, and you get to make a run at them in the warthog.

I don't know what it is about trash talking that so gets under my skin, but it's always been that way for me. I could never imagine mocking someone else's ability just due to the fact that I can beat them...

I actually think that's the only thing that would ever make me boot anyone... and yes, I will boot you. Wink

I'd much rather just play a good game and have fun doing it, then try to tick off my opponents, but maybe that's just cause I only play with friends...

Though, I do rather enjoy running around Krystyn while saying "I'm right behind you!" continually...

Yeah, not really into trashtalking the other team, but yelling out things that make the laugh or or say "what in the?!?!?" and confuse them sounds entertaining to me, random monty python quotes would work Wink

I am all for a "Stupid Spartin Tricks" training session

That wasn't me. It was my brother.
Wow! Why didn't I think of that?! Okay, from now on, every time I accidentally team-kill somebody, it's my brother doing it. Got it? My brother. Very Happy

Yeah, last night someone started kneeling on my corpse and chanting, "balls, balls, balls," and I felt like saying, "looks like balls is all you got, honey."

[/colorful commentary]

Some sort of "What, where?" comment would have done nicely as well.

Sometimes people can be just.... idiots.
I was playing CTF last night and my team won. No one was really that good and I dominated the score board and some one on my team kept yelling to the other team. "You guys suck!!" With some colorful language. After they left I apoligized to the other team, and they were actually nice guys and added me to their friends list and i played a few games in their party. There are some real idiots on XBL. The funny thing is, in real life, I am prolly twice their size and they would think twice about saying some of the things they say to me.

I can attest to that personally. While in Chi, I was expecting angelo to loose his cool or something when blasted, but he complemented me. It made me feel at ease, then he proceeded to clean the floor with my corpse.

Talking about a psych job! Laughing

Makes me wish I could meet them face to face... Twisted Evil

I wouldn't say there is a fine line, it's probably a rather wide line in fact, but I do enjoy some of the things that people say when walking over my toasted corpse.

Things such as:

TheBruce and Nova are fond of "FINALLY!"

Krystyn likes "Gotcha hon..."

and pretty much anyone can use the classic (as long as it's not in a malicious tone... Wink ) "TAKE IT!"

One thing I found kind of silly fun to do is try to clog up the conveyor belts in colosus. I tried to do it alone in a certain amount of time but only succeeded in doing this on one of the belts. and of course launching crates, bodies, whatever to the top level is always fun. I wonder if the accoustics of the place make for good concerts?

Count me in for silliness. Wink

So, were there a group of people that would be interested in, on occasion, getting together and doing stupid stuff, I'd gladly join them. It'd be fun even to grab a video camera and record some of our antics for future generations amusement... Wink
Me, too. I already have the XBox piped through the VCR; I could just pop a tape in and record it, then transfer it to digital with the PC's PVR card. . . .What? That too low-tech? My bad. Embarassed

You really thought I'd loose my cool... wow, I'm not sure how to take that... Wink

If you guys haven't noticed I'm all about the complements. It does exactly what Robo said, it makes people feel at ease. Which makes the game fun.

You can always use the excuse you can't hear/talk to anybody! When are you buying a headset? You're missing all the fun! Smile

And yeah, the bowling idea is the best!! Let's see who can get a killtacular or killamanjaro!
