Oh geez, I forgot about that. Who were those guys, anyway? And as long as you were laughing at them, I couldn't stop either.

I am a little chagrined by that. I seriously had no idea who that guy was - at first I thought perhaps he was spoofing on $idiot_player, so I started laughing. And then, he was just babbling, and wondering why I was laughing, and I realized he was for real, which just made me laugh harder. And then, I couldn't stop, and I was actually starting to get a cramp in my side from it, and then everyone in the lobby started laughing (except for him), and tears were running from my eyes. I am actually laughing a little right now, just thinking about it.

In the game, though, I got super-irritated. He would hang out by the warp at the back of my base, and sing sing sing. Now, I know I sing, but this was ... I dunno. Something other.

angelo, it was sad to not see you over the past coupla days! I have not been deaded nearly as much!

Ah, I'm finally able to play with you guys again tonight. I'm working a 3pm-midnight shift nowadays, so I miss out on a lot of the fun. I'll be on this afternoon and evening, so I'll be looking for you all.

On a side note, I have the bungie.net logo behind my gamertag in the lobbies, and last night somebody said, "Oh, look, why does mbkt have Bungie.net after his name? I bet he works for Bungie!" I didn't have a mic to correct him so I just chuckled to myself. Has that ever happened to anyone else here? Laughing

Wait, wait -- were these guys the Green Swarm of Death that appeared when you two (krystyn and angelo) and I were having our first little game together?

Nono, this was like, two nights ago. Totally random guys, not beekeepers at all. Whoever was controlling the lobby forgot to turn it to invite-only, and so random people started showing up.

Yeah krystyn, I thought he was joking at first, but the realization quickly dawned that he was seriously that lame. And ekim, I thought about joking that I worked for bungie, but then I realized I wasn't really that good, and I didn't want to sully Bungie's good name by letting someone think they beat them Wink. On a side note, does anyone know where I can download old episodes of Red vs. Blue? They only have the newer ones, and a couple of the earlier ones online anymore...

Wal-Mart sells cheap things at cheap prices. How do you think Wal-Mart sells things for so cheap? Because they buy from countries like China where workers put in 14 hour days with no breaks and get paid $0.25 a day. Our economy is struggling to maintain jobs in this country because of places like Wal-Mart. I would pay 50 dollars for a sweater at a local shop over 20 dollars for a sweater at Wal-Mart.

Wait, the Green People were beekeepers?

There's some weirdness going on with them. Kali says last night they appeared in a game she was playing, and she hit one from behind five times and his shields didn't even go down.

Of course then they got the blue screen, so it may have been something with the game itself.

Amen to that. I *have* bought sweaters for...well...substantially more than $50...at local shops I wanted to support; I have never looked at clothes at Wal-mart, so it's not quite a matter of direct competition, but yes. Point seconded.

Unfortunately, not everyone thinks like that.

Sometimes it's worse not to let a Walmart into your community than to have them there. I've seen town economies dwindle because they didn't let large name stores in, to preserve the local shops, but then everyone went out of town to buy what they needed to, because they could get it cheaper there. Sure, having a walmart would hurt the little guys, but it would at least keep the taxes in the town. As it was, all the taxes were going to other towns, leaving the town in question in questionable shape, economic wise.

Note, I'm not pro-walmart, or anti-walmart. I'm just bringing up an example of when being extremely anti-walmart is almost more detrimental.

I think they were beekeepers... I'll have to go back and check. Some how I got a bunch of people on my friends list that aren't beekeepers and, as if that were'nt enough are border line jerks. I'm going to go through tonight and eliminate some of the excess from my list. Also, every game I make will be invite-only. That way if we get some jerks in there, we'll know some one had to invite them ... and their punishment will be swift Wink

make your decisions accordingly.

Yeah, I remember seeing Spacebass, HitsHerMark, and Fauxhammer, out of the green machine that slammed us into several pretty splotches on the mall's walls. 'Twas all beekeepers, yah.

Was this the game?

They rotate the downloads to save on bandwidth. They change what episodes are avaliable ever 6 weeks or something like that. So just keep checking it out. You can also buy their dvds at gamestop.

I play with those guys in the pink for clan matches, they are a blast to play with as well. They are pretty good too.
