I'm always keen to have a game with you guys. You might not see me around for a couple of days, that's not because I hate you but because I'm working till 6:30 or 7 local time, which is 9:30 - 10pm PST. So by the time I get home, eat some food, and connect, a lot of you beekeeper types have already finished for the evening.

But soon I'll start finishing a bit more early so I'll be able to join in again. Smile

Good thing I'm heading out to California in a couple days then. Staying up till 2 or 3 in the morning is really tough when you have to get up at 7a.m. for work...

I don't know what everyone else is in the mood for tonight, but I'd really enjoy some more 'fun' based game types this evening.

A couple buddies and I hooked up for some team based matchmaker combat last night, which was fun, but I've had my fill of 'competitive' action.

Anyone up for some bumper cars? Wink

No kidding. A couple of days here at work have been mighty painful. I get up at 5 or 5:30, so I can be out of the house and commuting by 6:45.

OK, some days I get up at 6.

My co worker even noticed one day, and was asking me if I was OK, because I was so quiet (falling asleep sitting upright is not as hard to do as you'd think!). So now I have to tell him Halo 2 multiplayer stories all the time, because they amuse him so.

yeah, the few games I joined y'all in were ouchy Crying or Very sad

Who are those green people? I smacked one of them 5 times in the back and got nothing, not even a flicker in the shield. They couldn't have upped their health to say, 800%, could they?

Then I got the blue screen of death and had to wait til I could get back into the game.

But yes, I would love to play something foolish for a while. Ill be on around 6:00PST See ya then!

::edit - PDT to PST. I REALY should have known better. I couldnt think for a sec so i filped a coin.

Gah, all you silly Pacific people. And it's PST now, not PDT. (Yes, I make the same mistake after all those long weeks. Wink)

I'd be up for something fun, although I wouldn't mind doing something like the CTF game we pulled last night. I don't mind "competitive" games, as long as they're fun comptetitive, and not "we have to win at all costs" types.

Of course, I just got on XBL, so you guys have had much more of a chance to play around than I have.

Anyway, I'd be up for whatever tonight, hopefully it'll be early enough for us east coasters to get in on before we have to go to bed.

I'm definitely up for both, and I'm sure we'll do both. It's just been a bit since our last crazy day...

And we need to figure out a way to do the whole spartan tower thing. There has to be somewhere you can stand on a person where you won't slide off. Just have to find it... Wink

Do you think that different weapons would make a difference? Dual something? rocketlaunchers? can you stand on something some one is holding?

definitely! My gamertag is INCyr (simple, isn't it?) and I see yours in your sig, so I'll make sure to grab yours to my friends list tonight. I'm in the SPDR clan as well, so you can see if I'm on that way as well.

But yes, I'd love to play a few rounds with you and Wildfire, if possible. And hopefully your voice has gotten better by now Wink

That may very well be possible. We'll have to try some different weapon combinations. I know you can stand on someones head for quite some time without your weight forcing you to slide off. One day while just goofing around on Ivory Tower we were standing at Krystyn's old favorite sniping point. After talking for a bit my ADD kicked in and I looked for something to entertain myself. Clearly, Jumping on Krystyn's head would fit the bill, so that's just what I did. I stayed up there for quite some time, so I know it's possible. It's just a matter of finding that happy medium. The tough part will be getting new spartans on the tower once the tower gets past the height that you can jump... I'm thinking we should try it on assension since the middle section has the rather tall ramps that you can walk up to get a nice 'mounting' position.
