I don't like sites like those, because, even though it appeals to my logic circ-- I mean, human brain... even though it appeals to my grey matter I find that when a game is reduced to numbers and people start "studying up" so they can "maximize" on whatever number exploit there is... the game loses it's fun appeal.

Now, don't get me wrong, back in the day I would use Anvil to mold Marathon's weapon physics to my liking, turning SPNK-R rockets into bouncing globules of mass destruction, but I've seen the "maximizers" in action, especially in recent new games, and it just sucks the fun out of me to see them come in, wipe the floor with everyone because they memorized the exact spread pattern of the shotgun and always fire from six degrees to your left for full impact... it just makes me hate them.

I can understand doing it to a single-player game, where memorizing a boss' pattern can help you win, or knowing the strategy to beat Legendary is essential to survival... but this is on Live, and there're people on the other end of your energy sword. Lighten up. Cool

I haven't even looked much at the pages referenced, I just thought some people would like the opportunity to study these stats and adapt it to their own playing style. most of this will probably matchup with peoples experiences anyway with what is more effective in certain situations.

Hey guys. Now that the site isn't going to bombard me with a trojan horse every time I try to access, I'm going to try to upload the video I took of the bouncing action. bruce, I can't see yours, so sorry if mines redundant Smile.

*Edit....nevermind. Mines too big to upload. Apparently you can only upload 10 mb. Mines 12.

Skybruin, I loved how we were both in hysterics over repeatedly jacking the warthog from each other. I seriously haven't laughed that hard in ... god, I don't know. Hours! Wink

It must've been at least 15 times we jacked that vehicle. Wow.

OK, and I had several moments of awesome when I was driving that burning, totally busted warthog around and around and around, and you were all chasing me, and then I'd flip, roll over, right myself, and go zooming away, honking my horn all the while...

"I'm still drivin'!"

I also managed to grab Nova's banshee, which was a highlight. I think he might've been as shocked as I was that it happened at all!

I think the better question is probably, when won't it happen? Smile

nothing could ever be redundant Smile
Mine's divx, compressed a lot, which is why yours is probably still over 10MB. Compress it with divx and it'll get much smaller (that is, if it's not already divx, which means that video's gotta be like 10 minutes long Razz) anyway, divx codecs are at www.divx.com

Well, I'm at work at don't have the divx codecs here, so I'll try compressing it when I get home. For now, Krystyn's going to try to host it on her web space. One of us will let you know when it's there Smile.

I just wanted to add that I've been having a BLAST with my fellow beekeepers thus far... except when we get interrupted by New Kids on the Block.

I also pray that the first content update doesn't allow Nova to shoot swords out of a rocket launcher.

I've been meaning to ask... It's not that I don't like being a SPDR Ninja but does anyone know of a Washington (west coast, not D.C.) or Pacific Northwest Beekeepers clan?

My efforts at searching have come up empty.

I dont think that there are that many of us. there were only a hadfull of Portland beekepers to begin with, so not many of us available for a PNW clan from here.
You never know. If we find 8 people, that's enough for the beginnings of a clan. The question is... what's an appropriate name. A co-worker and lurking beekeeper friend of mine wants to go with "1.1"
