 		Argh. I can't connect to the chat at all. chat-solutions seems to be totally dead from where I'm sitting (the website isn't working at the moment, either -- just a bunch of error messages because they're overloaded).

when i do a smiley with a typo, i do this: :_)

when i do a smiley with a typo, and try to hit backspace but typo again, i do this: :_)\\)

 		Aint a question to ask the peeps, just curious -

Was The Beast the first big ARG, or were there ones before it? Trying to compare something between the 'start' of ARGs and another thing.

afaik, The Beast was the first big -sucessful- ARG. There have been other attempts at stuff like this, and attempts since (anyone remember playing Majestic? No? There's a reason for that), but nothing that actually worked well on such a massive scale (until ilovebees).

An argument could be made for "The War of the Worlds" being the first true ARG, but it wasn't a game per se.

In short, Sean is quite the visionary.
