[Not Exactly OT - Movie] National Treasure

Not the new Indiana Jones by any measure...

But still quite good.

Deffenetly a movie for ARGers. Very Happy

Really? 'cause the trailers made it look like it is not a movie for people who think. My understanding from the trailer is that Columbus brought a treasure to america which he gave to the founding fathers despite never having been in the same place or time.

Then again, they went out of their way to make a promotional tie-in with the mythbusters. Seems like they would not want to do that unless it has a certain amount of defendability.

I haven't seen this flick yet, but it seems like the first in the burgeoning 'revisionist history' genre that The DaVinci Code brought into the mainstream. If HHM says its good and Devin Faraci says its decent, I might check it out.

Saw it this weekend. Has nothing to do with Christopher Colombus at all.

Better than I expected. definitely worth a shot, if you're looking for an action flick with a fair bit of comedy.
