isn't showing me the letters just the background.
am I on the wrong page or has it changed?
if it has changed perhaps the Down Under reference meant the background of the image?

i have tried variations on the binary idea and various aldous huxley stuff, with no luck. i even found a reference to somebody named falco as the noblest of the romans, and tried amadeus. i think i should get _something_ for that.

Did not Russell Crowe play a Roman in Gladiator?

Well that's great. Of course, there are only a few million romans' names we'd have to try. Down under sounds interesting though. And the capitalization too... TURND... no E... must mean something. Downe undere? bleh.
/me here.

Perhaps it meant that Colin was on the right track, being from Australia and all?

Oh wow, that's a very good point. I never noticed that. I'll get to work on what he was doing then. I might've messed up a letter here or there but I'm pretty sure I didn't mess up any rotational information, so I'll just work off the stuff he posted.

I'm pretty sure they're taking this opportunity to inform us that they think Scratch was Australian, so they suggest that we imagine his messages being read in a sexy Australian accent. What else could they be talking about?
I'm following along, but can't really play actively right now (die, organic chemistry!). But I am actively cheering everyone on. Go team!

13th row, 13th letter- r flipped (not t flipped)
13th row, 16th letter - not flipped
15th row, 16th letter - flipped
16th row, 8th letter - flipped
16th row, 10th letter - flipped
16th row, 17th letter - not flipped
17th row, 6th letter - flipped

That "9" is suspicious, but I can't find the mistake if one exists

Well, that's whatcha get when ya didn't play the first time around. I'm really enjoying this but find myself with a severe handicap.
One more: 16th row, 1st letter - flipped
And I still haven't found the mistake that was giving me the 9.
NM.....found it
