I talked to her too, today. I haven't gotten her okay to post the conversations here, though.

However, we did solve the next level.

Before SWildfire56 signed off for the night I managed to get another quick chat with her, and she told me more about her family. Here's how it went:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
[23:34] CiaranHm: I'm back. Are you still there?
[23:34] SWildfire56: Just leaving actually.
[23:34] *** Auto-response sent to SWildfire56: I am currently away from the computer.
[23:34] SWildfire56: Deltiona's home.
[23:35] CiaranHm: Okay.
[23:35] SWildfire56: Well, you can try my business address... but it's been hit or miss lately.
[23:35] SWildfire56: Ok... never mind... Delton just yelled at me not to use my business address for personal business.
[23:35] CiaranHm: Oh? How so?
[23:35] CiaranHm: Okay.
[23:36] CiaranHm: Delton's your fiancee?
[23:36] SWildfire56: (Pfft.. he uses his to sign up for porn accounts... Don't tell him I told you that... he he.)
[23:36] SWildfire56: Yeah, that's my wonderful Fiancee.
[23:36] CiaranHm: Heh. Okay then.
[23:37] CiaranHm: By the way, just a quick question. Who are the other two people in the latest picture?
[23:37] CiaranHm: I'm assuming Delton is the leftmost one.
[23:37] CiaranHm: And then there are two others.
[23:37] SWildfire56: Ah, his brother Deltion is holding the sword.
[23:37] SWildfire56: Deltion is trained in the martial arts.
[23:38] SWildfire56: Deltina is next to him, that's their older sister.
[23:38] SWildfire56: Deltina is Deltiona's mother.
[23:38] SWildfire56: *Sigh* I wish their mother wasn't in love with the name Delton...
[23:38] CiaranHm: Hehe.
[23:39] CiaranHm: I posted in the forums with our latest chat. I'm sure we'll be able to help you figure out the puzzles.
[23:40] SWildfire56: Thank you so much Ciaran.
[23:41] SWildfire56: Anyway, I must be going, take care!
[23:41] CiaranHm: No problem, and thank you. Bye!

And another level solved -- this one was easier than I thought. Silly me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Also, got Sera's approval to post my interactions with her, so I'll be getting those up as soon as I can adapt 'em.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
One other bit: Sera advised me that Delton was saying that this time, the address is a new site entirely.

My (first) conversation with Sera:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
[17:51] <18-718-333> Hello?
[17:51] <swildfire56> Hello there.
[17:51] <18-718-333> I fear you have me at the disadvantage.
[17:52] <swildfire56> No, I don't believe so.
[17:53] <swildfire56> Are you from the Unforums group?
[17:53] <18-718-333> I am.
[17:53] <swildfire56> Ah, so you are willing to help me?
[17:53] <18-718-333> What help do you require?
[17:54] <swildfire56> Well, the child that I care for made a website with my fiancee that's full of puzzles.
[17:54] <swildfire56> I'm having a difficult time deciphering it.
[17:55] <18-718-333> Ah, I see. A website of puzzles can be entertaining.
[17:55] <swildfire56> Yes, until you'
[17:55] <swildfire56> Until you're at your wits end with them.
[17:56] <swildfire56> One of your friends, Ciaran, just helped me with the first level. We're working on the second.
[17:56] <18-718-333> There's definitely trouble to that. I can take a look, if you wish, Wildfire. If you would, call me Pip.
[17:56] <swildfire56> My name is Seraphina, but most people just call me Sera.
[17:56] <swildfire56> Good to meet you Master Pip.
[17:57] <swildfire56> We are here: http://home.comcast.net/~anoitled/playwithme.htm
[17:58] <swildfire56> It's the second page in the series.
[17:58] <swildfire56> What we've learned is that once you find the answer to the picture it's the name of the next file.
[17:58] <18-718-333> Ahhh. Interesting.
[17:58] <swildfire56> So, the answer to the first picture was "play with me" pointing to the file name "playwithme.htm"
[17:59] <18-718-333> Okay, I see that. So now we've got... *hrms* Looking at the picture, it seems like a politician, a... ninja?, not sure about the third. The fourth has angel-wings, and the fifth... is a vampire with rabbit ears??
[18:00] <swildfire56> Well, he he, I don't think so.
[18:00] <swildfire56> I know what this is a picture of.
[18:00] <18-718-333> Ah! What is it?
[18:00] <swildfire56> This is my family.
[18:00] <swildfire56> The first is my fiancee, Delton.
[18:00] <swildfire56> The second is his brother, Deltion.
[18:01] <swildfire56> The third is the mother of the child that I care for, Deltina.
[18:01] <swildfire56> The fourth is myself.
[18:01] <swildfire56> The fifth, that is little Deltiona.
[18:01] <swildfire56> That's our little family, he he.
[18:02] <18-718-333> *nods* I wondered, what with the wings, Sera. A nod to the Seraphim, I presume?
[18:02] <swildfire56> Hmmmm.... possibly.
[18:03] <swildfire56> The arrow below me is also intriguing.
[18:03] <18-718-333> The pointing is to you, speci... yes, I was about to note that. And then, an arrow on.
[18:03] <swildfire56> So... hmmm... maybe something about me is the answer...
[18:03] <swildfire56> I tried my name already, it didn't work.
[18:03] <18-718-333> The obvious, "seraphina.htm", isn't the answer. Does Deltiona have a nickname for you?
[18:04] <swildfire56> No... because she can't speak she never gave me a nickname.
[18:04] <swildfire56> Although, she always depicts me as an angel.
[18:05] <18-718-333> How sweet.
[18:05] <swildfire56> Yes. She is a very sweet little girl.
[18:05] <swildfire56> Perhaps a little ghastly to look at, but very sweet.
[18:06] <18-718-333> Ah, perhaps. But it's best to judge on what's beneath. What do you think the heart-shaped sun means? Is it merely love for all, do you think?
[18:06] <swildfire56> Yes, personally. The heart seems to be pointing to all of us.
[18:07] <18-718-333> Also, having attempted the equally obvious, of putting your name in parentheses, as suggested by the lower arrow pointing to the right (onwards?), no such luck.
[18:07] <swildfire56> Hmmm...
[18:07] <swildfire56> Maybe another name for me...
[18:07] <swildfire56> But what...
[18:07] <18-718-333> Is there another name used in public for you, by your fiancee or any such?
[18:08] <swildfire56> Delton always calls me his angel.
[18:08] <swildfire56> Let me try that...
[18:08] <swildfire56> Nope.
[18:08] <18-718-333> Deltonsangel.htm didn't work either.
[18:09] <swildfire56> Going to try different types of angel... maybe that might work.
[18:09] <18-718-333> Seraphim.
[18:09] <18-718-333> seraphim.htm works just fine.
[18:09] <swildfire56> Ah, I just tried cherub.
[18:10] <swildfire56> I wish my internet was faster...
[18:10] <18-718-333> *chuckles* I've a more than passing interest in angelology.
[18:10] <swildfire56> He he, angels are wonderful beings.
[18:10] <swildfire56> Hmmm...
[18:10] <swildfire56> This picture is frightening.
[18:11] <18-718-333> It IS. On the far right is again our young puzzle-mistress; can you name the remaining three?
[18:11] <18-718-333> Four, I suppose, counting the falling pet.
[18:11] <swildfire56> Um....
[18:11] <swildfire56> No.
[18:11] <swildfire56> I can't say I can.
[18:11] <18-718-333> And at the bottom, soldiers shooting each other. It looks rather like some form of war.
[18:11] <swildfire56> Yes.. surely.
[18:12] <18-718-333> A quick guess at "michael," after the Archangel / Patron Saint of such things, didn't work.
[18:12] <swildfire56> war.htm doesn't work either.
[18:12] <swildfire56> Very odd characters above...
[18:12] <swildfire56> It seems Deltiona really doesn't like them.
[18:13] <18-718-333> No, one gathers. One man calling a storm down, perhaps; there's something odd about his suit, but I can't tell what. The second, holding a snake in one hand and a gun in the other, and the last has a knife. What is she doing with her other arm, does it look?
[18:14] <swildfire56> I don't know.
[18:14] <swildfire56> Ah, speaking of Deltiona...
[18:14] <swildfire56> Deltina and her are home.
[18:14] <swildfire56> I must get back to work.
[18:14] <18-718-333> Indeed. Another time. Safe journeys, and keep in touch. Do you have an e-mail I can send to you?
[18:14] <18-718-333> If I find something?
[18:15] <swildfire56> My personal address is SAngelaSPLATcomcast.net
[18:15] <18-718-333> I'll send you something, then, Sera, if I find something.
[18:15] <swildfire56> I changed my last name to Wildfire before Deltona and I got married... Angela is my maiden name.
[18:15] <swildfire56> *Delton
[18:15] <swildfire56> *Sigh* I really wish their mother made their names more definitive...
[18:16] <swildfire56> He he.
[18:16] <18-718-333> *chuckle* Of course. They ARE unusual names, I would say, and very similar. One can't merely call "Del!"
[18:16] <swildfire56> No. You draw a crowd if you do.
[18:16] <swildfire56> Regina, their mother, liked the name apparently.
[18:17] <swildfire56> So, why not call all 3 of them different versions of it?
[18:17] <18-718-333> And that got passed on down to Regina's granddaughter. What did their father think -- or Deltiona's?
[18:18] <swildfire56> Well, Deltiona is adopted.
[18:18] <swildfire56> Deltina hasn't married yet (and probably never will).
[18:18] <18-718-333> Ah, I see.
[18:18] <swildfire56> She's a bit.... intense.
[18:18] <18-718-333> I gather, from the picture her daughter drew of her -- how old IS our young puzzle-mistress, if I may inquire?
[18:19] <swildfire56> (She doesn't like me much either... but Delton insists I keep an eye on Deltiona if Deltina forgets).
[18:19] <swildfire56> Ah, Deltiona is 7 and a half.
[18:19] <18-718-333> Quite precocious for her age, then. I approve.
[18:19] <swildfire56> Yes, she's quite good. Always has been ontop of things.
[18:19] <swildfire56> Anyway, I must stop chit-chatting, nice speaking with you.
[18:19] <swildfire56> Take care.
[18:33] <swildfire56> One more thing.
[18:34] <swildfire56> I was so off on my own old e-mail.
[18:34] <swildfire56> I got my hotmail crossed with my comcast crossed with my business.
[18:35] <18-718-333> Not a problem -- I fear I've nothing to report yet. Where should I send it?
[18:37] <swildfire56> Well, you can try my business address... but it's been hit or miss lately.
[18:38] <swildfire56> Ok... never mind... Delton just yelled at me not to use my business address for personal business.
[18:38] <18-718-333> *nods* Of course. My regards to Delton.
[18:39] <swildfire56> (Pfft.. he uses his to sign up for porn accounts... Don't tell him I told you that... he he.)
[18:39] <18-718-333> Tell who what?
[18:39] <swildfire56> SeraAngela00056SPLATcomcast.net
[18:40] <swildfire56> That's what it is.
[18:40] <swildfire56> I only had to attempt to login like 5 times.
[18:40] <swildfire56> 231 messages!!!!!
[18:40] <swildfire56> Oh dear...
[18:40] <18-718-333> My word!
[18:40] <swildfire56> I'm going to be leaving now...
[18:40] <swildfire56> To read my e-mail....
[18:41] <18-718-333> Safe travels.
[18:41] <swildfire56>
[18:41] <18-718-333> Hopefully the e-mail won't eat you!
[18:41] <swildfire56>
[18:41] <swildfire56> I'll see you 2 months...
[18:41] <swildfire56> Take care.
[18:41] <18-718-333> Hehe. I bet half of it's spam, fear not!
[18:41] <swildfire56> Hmmm, hopefully.

Not sure if there's any useful clues in it, though. There's more, which I'll reformat to something legible tonight once I'm at my home comp with my IM.

And then, out of the blue, I got IM'd by a fellow named "sidewinderrg".

Quote:

sidewinderrg: Mr. Pip?
The Machiapippian: That would be me, aye, sir.
sidewinderrg: I have it on good athority you have been in contact with the Wildfire family
The Machiapippian: A member thereof, perhaps.
sidewinderrg: I would just like to warn you that their company is nothing more than a playground
sidewinderrg: They are an affront to ligitimit business
The Machiapippian: What makes you say that?
sidewinderrg: I'm am in the same industry as them
The Machiapippian: I see.
sidewinderrg: I have had dealings with them and find it hard to believe they can even exist
The Machiapippian: And yet, they do.
sidewinderrg: Yes. They are quite stuborn. My company has tried to buy them out many a times. All Delton does is tell us to go to hell.
sidewinderrg: Despite the fact that I could makes them into Fortune 500
The Machiapippian: We all have our reasons for our businesses.
sidewinderrg: I am looking for someone to share the truth about the Wildfire's
The Machiapippian: I see.
The Machiapippian: Might I ask from where your Authority derives their information, concerning my dealings with the Wildfires?
sidewinderrg: I keep my eyes on where problem solvers gather. I tend to take an active role in looking for new talent
The Machiapippian: I see.
sidewinderrg: I'm sorry. I should introduce myself. I'm Bart Sidewinder, CEO of The Rainman Group
The Machiapippian: Good afternoon, Mr. Sidewinder. Mr. Pip will suffice, I think.
sidewinderrg: I was curious as to what exactly your level of involvment with the Wildfires is? Am I dealing with the wrong person?
The Machiapippian: I suppose one could consider me a friend of the family.
sidewinderrg: And your impressions of them are?
The Machiapippian: They seem like entertaining enough individuals. Quite sharp, in many respects. Delton's quite the hand at darts.
sidewinderrg: Maybe he'll have to parlay that into his next carrer.
The Machiapippian: Quite intent on driving them out of business, then. How does your business intersect with Wildfire Industries?
sidewinderrg: I operate a Think Tank in the same town and we both focus on computer software.
The Machiapippian: Ah, I see.
sidewinderrg: I have a meeting to go to. Either myself or my assistant, Ms. Viper will be in touch.
The Machiapippian: Very well.
sidewinderrg: If you would be willing to share with your fellow puzzle solvers what I have told you about the Wildfire's it may be in your best intrest
The Machiapippian: Information just wants to be free, Mr. Sidewinder.
sidewinderrg: Sometimes

It seems he got my contact info from here. Something seems a bit odd, in that UF is usually considered OOG, but it's clear that the PMs are reading here. Are we just playing by a slightly alternate set of rules, or is this merely a red herring?

About UF being OG, I think it is in a way. We had this same conversation in a previous ARG and it involved the PMs themselves. As UF is an open forum, anyone, including the PMs, can read our posts but I think the information is only used in benefit of the game experience.
Anyways, that's my opinion and more or less the general conclusion about the issue on that particular ARG. I'm not in any way an expert on this kind of games or a moderator so again this are only my thoughts.

Now back with the game... With the latest developments, maybe the guy with the snake in the pictures has something to do with this guy Sidewinder. Also he has an associate named Viper so they're into the snakes theme. About the new picture I don't have much of a clue.. maybe ant eater or something.. gotta look closer at the image and think...

Okay, so it seems we have a solve. Doesn't seem to be particularly great though.

which, after some digging around, leads you to:

A promo for a new ARG in December.

I'm personally disappointed with this, but, okay.

I didn't solve it myself, sad to say. cpip was inspired by a thread at Immersion Unlimited.

Which, btw, is relevant. Notice how they say they want it to take place at IU instead of here because of Unforum's policy of not posting as in-game characters...

Well, well.

First exchange, before I solved it -- included because it may have some relevant bits of clueness:

From 11/21/04:
Quote:
[18:58] <swildfire56> Hello Pip.
[18:58] <18-718-333> How's the evening find you (if it's evening where you are)?
[18:58] <swildfire56> I'm off for the night. Yes, it is evening.
[18:58] <swildfire56> I get to be a little lazy, finally.
[18:59] <18-718-333> Huzzah for laziness. I've had that since about 2 pm, which was perhaps lazier than I needed to be; but I spent my morning at my volunteer work, so I feel I've earned a bit of it.
[19:00] <swildfire56> Oh, that's lovely, what do you volunteer for?
[19:00] <18-718-333> A local animal rehabilitation clinic. Raptor Rehabilitation of Kentucky. We work with injured birds of prey and such.
[19:00] <swildfire56> Oh, wonderful.
[19:01] <18-718-333> I like to think so. On a less wonderful note, despite staring at seraphim.htm for a bit, I've no new insights on the next level of your puzzle.
[19:01] <swildfire56> He he, well, I have to look into it again now.
[19:01] <swildfire56> Let me pull up my browser.
[19:02] <18-718-333> Certainly.
[19:02] <swildfire56> So, it's certainly a war.
[19:03] <18-718-333> Indeed. How the three characters above relate to the war below, I can't figure out. I've contemplated the possibility that they're mythological figures -- is Deltiona fond of myths and legends? I was as a young lad.
[19:03] <swildfire56> Hmmm, she does read some myths, yes.
[19:04] <swildfire56> But I read them to her, and I don't remember characters like that.
[19:05] <18-718-333> *nods* Alas. I was also wondering if there was a correlation between the three figures above which so scare her, and the fact that the war's depicted as a 3-on-3 battle. I'm not sure what the connection IS, though.
[19:05] <swildfire56> Well, those spikes on the one sides helmets are interesting.
[19:05] <swildfire56> The other side doesn't have them.
[19:06] <18-718-333> They remind me of German helmets from World War I -- but I tried a few WW1-related terms and didn't have any luck, but there's so much -- different battles, different terms (I tried Boche, and 'overthetop', for instance.)
[19:06] <swildfire56> did you just try the name of the war?
[19:07] <18-718-333> Now I feel like an utter fool. I tried WWI, worldwarone, but not "WW1." Which works.
[19:07] <swildfire56> Ok... world war 1 doesnt... oh dar.
[19:07] <swildfire56> *darn
[19:07] <swildfire56> Lol.
[19:07] <swildfire56> Now I feel silly as well.
[19:08] <swildfire56> Now what do we have here?
[19:08] <18-718-333> This one looks like a definite rebus.
[19:08] <swildfire56> Yes...
[19:09] <swildfire56> anteater + rook + game ?
[19:09] <18-718-333> "Something" + rook (or castle) + game ... ah! Anteater. Aardvark?
[19:09] <swildfire56> He he, aardvark.
[19:10] <18-718-333> It's just such a fun word to SAY.
[19:10] <swildfire56> I know! It's so silly.
[19:10] <18-718-333> And all of it leads to "in the box."
[19:10] <swildfire56> Yes... inside of the box...
[19:10] <swildfire56> So all that stuff, inside of a box?
[19:11] <swildfire56> *thinks*
[19:11] <18-718-333> A toybox?
[19:11] <swildfire56> Hmmm...
[19:11] <swildfire56> That's not the answer...
[19:11] <swildfire56> That's what I thought too though.
[19:12] <18-718-333> No, it's not.
[19:12] <swildfire56> Brb, someone is knocking at my door.
[19:12] <18-718-333> Sure.
[19:13] <swildfire56> Ah, it's just Delton being stupid.
[19:13] <18-718-333> Ah. Heh.
[19:13] <swildfire56> He and Deltion had a dartboard hung on my door and were playing darts to be annoying.
[19:14] <18-718-333> Ahhh.
[19:14] <swildfire56> Almost took a dart in the chest. Very inconsiderate of them.
[19:14] <18-718-333> Eek!
[19:15] <swildfire56> Hmmm.... well, one good thing came out of it.
[19:15] <swildfire56> Delton says that this page leads to an outside website.
[19:15] <18-718-333> Ohhhh. THAT'S different.
[19:15] <swildfire56> You're telling me.
[19:15] <swildfire56> Good he told us that no, so we're not just typing things in here.
[19:15] <swildfire56> *now
[19:16] <18-718-333> Indeed, since now we've got an idea that it'll be the whole URL, which means we're looking for something ending in a .com, or .org, or something, I'd guess?
[19:17] <swildfire56> Yes, I would assume.
[19:17] <swildfire56> anteater + rook + game + inside a box...
[19:17] <swildfire56> *Thinks*
[19:19] <18-718-333> *thinks too*
[19:19] <swildfire56> anteatingcastlegameinsider.com
[19:19] <swildfire56> Lol.
[19:19] <swildfire56> I have no clue...
[19:22] <18-718-333> Ah well. My girlfriend is reminding me that we'd made plans for some of the evening; I may take a look at it later on again. Take it easy, and good luck!
[19:22] <swildfire56> He he, it's ok.
[19:22] <swildfire56> Enjoy your night. I'll enjoy mine.
[19:22] <swildfire56> Take care, Pip.
[19:23] <18-718-333> You too, Sera.

Once it was solved, as above, I sent the solve to Sera at her addy.
Later on 11/22:
Quote:

[23:05] <swildfire56> Mr. Pip, let me be the first to offer my sincerest apologies.
[23:06] <swildfire56> I was decived myself.... and I feel just awful for decieving you.
[23:07] <swildfire56> Delton could have mentioned it was part of his new employment campaign...
[23:07] <18-718-333> I accept them. It's not a trouble. Is Delton hiring, then?
[23:08] <swildfire56> Yes... apparently so.
[23:08] <swildfire56> He wanted to do an ARG for hiring.
[23:08] <swildfire56> Apparently he really took a liking to the "I Love Bees" marketing campaign.
[23:09] <18-718-333> Well, after it succeded so admirably...
[23:09] <swildfire56> True, it really did.
[23:09] <swildfire56> Can't deny that.
[23:09] <18-718-333> I enjoyed it, and I'm not even a Halo fan!
[23:09] <swildfire56> He he.
[23:09] <swildfire56> Delton ordred it from Bungie the second they said it was in production.
[23:10] <swildfire56> He's a bit crazy like that.
[23:10] <18-718-333> We all have our vices.
[23:11] <swildfire56> He he. Some more than others, of course.
[23:12] <18-718-333> But of course.
[23:13] <swildfire56> Well, Mr. Pip, it is now my duty to to ask if... well... you would care to be part-time employed by Wildfire Industries.
[23:13] <swildfire56> Delton was amazed by your work on his game.
[23:14] <18-718-333> I'm very flattered. What sort of position are we discussing?
[23:15] <swildfire56> We would be discussing a new idea Delton wishes to execute called E-Business.
[23:16] <swildfire56> I'm still sketchy on the concept myself, but here's what I can tell you.
[23:16] <18-718-333> I'm listening.
[23:16] <swildfire56> You see, we've dried up the employment opportunities in our own town, so we're seeking outside help.
[23:16] <swildfire56> Delton doesn't wish to invest in a new building, so we thought we can use the internet as an office.
[23:17] <swildfire56> In addition to a job you may already possess, you will be able to work for Wildfire Industries over the internet, part time.
[23:17] <18-718-333> That makes sense. And saves on relocation bonuses in the contracts, too.
[23:17] <swildfire56> Very much so.
[23:17] <swildfire56> They will be small jobs, at first, and progressively getting harder as we progress the technology.
[23:17] <swildfire56> It's still in the creation phase as we speak.
[23:18] <swildfire56> If you do choose to sign with us, we could have you on board with the E-Business program sometime in January.
[23:18] <swildfire56> Delton is having a large conversation tomorrow night to discuss this with all his prospects.
[23:18] <swildfire56> Would you care to join us?
[23:19] <18-718-333> Tomorrow night... hm. What time?
[23:19] <swildfire56> 6:00 PM EST.
[23:19] <swildfire56> Is this a bad time, Mr. Pip?
[23:20] <18-718-333> I had to double-check with a friend; we sometimes have Tuesday night gatherings. What with the upcoming holiday, though, I should be able to make it.
[23:20] <swildfire56> Oh, silly me, tonight is Monday.
[23:20] <swildfire56> Wednesday is the meeting.
[23:20] <swildfire56> Gah... I can't do the math of days anymore...
[23:21] <18-718-333> Oh, Wednesday will be just fine. I can even stay up a bit later, what with the holiday the next day.
[23:21] <swildfire56> Oh wonderful.
[23:21] <swildfire56> I'm glad you can make it.
[23:21] <swildfire56> It will be in the room #WildfireIndustries on irc.chat-solutions.org
[23:22] <swildfire56> You can get there using the mIRC client.
[23:22] <18-718-333> I'll have to dust off my copy of mIRC, then. It's been a little while.
[23:22] <swildfire56> He he.
[23:22] <swildfire56> Oh, and tell your friends, and tell anyone you feel could make a good addition.
[23:22] <swildfire56> We're taking on as many as we can.
[23:22] <swildfire56> Money is not an issue, Delton says.
[23:23] <18-718-333> Quite impressive!
[23:23] <swildfire56> We really need the expansion.
[23:23] <18-718-333> I'll pass the word around to a friend or two.
[23:24] <swildfire56> Thank you very much Mr. Pip.
[23:24] <18-718-333> Certainly, I'll let Ciaran know if I see him beforehand. He was helpful there, as the two of us banged our heads against walls and we overdeveloped things.
[23:24] <18-718-333> Might I ask a question?
[23:25] <swildfire56> Yes?
[23:25] <18-718-333> Did you recieve my other e-mail, with the chat log from a Mr. Sidewinder?
[23:25] <swildfire56> Yes, I have... most troublesome.
[23:26] <18-718-333> *nods* I take it it sounds like Mr. Sidewinder's proper work, and not merely some trickster?
[23:26] <swildfire56> Mr. Sidewinder is... in the least... an unscrupulous man.
[23:26] <swildfire56> At the most, could be arrested for a lot of counts of alot of things.
[23:26] <18-718-333> He did not impress me with his integrity even in that short conversation.
[23:27] <swildfire56> >From what Delton tells me, he's been trying to buy us out.
[23:27] <swildfire56> He and his employer, Mr. Rodger Rainman.
[23:28] <18-718-333> Indeed. Not wanting to be bought is hardly a sin, no matter what some may think. Especially, as I gather, Wildfire is a family business.
[23:28] <swildfire56> Truly, we are.
[23:29] <swildfire56> Anyway, my apologies to you for my Fiance's lousy attempt at an alternate reality game.
[23:29] <swildfire56> I scolded Deltiona for being suckered into such a trick.
[23:30] <swildfire56> He apparently bought her 10 giant lollypops so she would draw those pictures.
[23:30] <18-718-333> No apologies needed. It was entertaining, and helped shake off the rust from my solving gears.
[23:30] <swildfire56> Well, that's good to hear, it eases my concience some.
[23:30] <swildfire56> Take care for the night Mr. Pip. I'll see you in 2 days.
[23:31] <swildfire56> I have a night off tonight.
[23:31] <18-718-333> Until anon. Enjoy your evening off!
[23:31] <swildfire56> Thank you. I need to get out of this white business suit and ditch this bow around my neck. He he. Good night!

So: on 11/24, at 6 pm EST, in the #WildfireIndustries room on irc.chat-solutions.org .

Some other possible musings about Wildfire

So I decided to google Wildfire and came up with a tripod site called wildfire industries, that apparently is linked to a livejournal of someone named Seraphina Wildfire. Which kinda links into the wildfire flash thing that you can get to from ARGInsider.

I just found this today, and I'm sorry I missed all that action!

Unfortunately, the Tripod site violated Tripod's Terms of Service and was shut down. Sad

I don't know if this has anything to do with all of this, but I put in www.shesaw.net. I copied the boxes to Word, and tried switching the font. With Wingdings, it comes up with symbols, but for most of the other fonts, I came up with nothing. Any other thoughts?

That's a Japanese blog. The reason you saw boxes is because you don't have Japanese support in your browser.

If you're referring to the seesaw picture, the puzzle behind that was solved... it led to an announcement of a new ARG. shesaw.net doesn't seem to have anything to do with it.

One thing I should have said before... I went to the chat that night. It seems there were two chats - one was with the people at Wildfire Industries, the other at The Rainman Group, an opposing group. Seems that the two are developing AIs.

In the conversation, two important things came up, and I'm sorry for not mentioning them earlier...

1. There is a hidden part on http://www.thisiswi.net/ leading to a registration form for job applicants. Seems to be a sort of test. I don't know much, but I believe that the following has something to do with it:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the source code for http://www.thisiswi.net/home.htm , the following appears:

<area shape="circle" coords="predictwhatgoesinhere.thisiswi.net">

2. The Rainman Group are also advertising for recruits. If you want to be considered, you need to send an email to them. I can't remember what the email address is right now but I'll post it as soon as I get to the chat logs (which are on the other computer).

Sorry about the lateness of this info.

I don't know, it looks like a Japanese blog to me.

EDIT: Sorry, when I refreshed, the above post wasn't there.
