i tried logging in to his email with special and contact today and got a notice that too many unsuccessful attempts has caused them to temporarily block access to his email.

ha ha, hope he read my email before that happened.

it seems like it should be simple, but it isn't at all immediately clear to me what we are supposed to be "breaking in" to.

where would his files be? on geocities.com? should we use the passwords there? is there a simpler way to access, maybe a web directory we can access from his page?

I think we're looking for a directory. If we were supposed to get into the account, there'd be too high a chance of someone changing the password and stealing it. Anyway, something interesting I noticed: all of the pages are titled New Page 1 or New Page 2 except faq.htm ('I haven'), ufos.htm ('What are UFOs'), contact.htm and top.htm ('Dr').
