For your delight and disgust this is a close up of the number on the ebay cube as enhanced as i can get it, from all the enlargements and angles i have to say it doesn't begin with a 12 (as i first thought, and indeed others have) from what i've seemed to get thats just the eye looking too closely and screwing up, the 1 is too small when looked at up close and the 2 dissapears after enlarging 300%. If anyone can get a better image using their software and can prove the 12 at the beginning then Fi better save me some of that sandwich (little less mayo though please).

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Which i read as 1128357934.

As for the Perplex Vision thing, i have no ideas, and sincerly hope this is not a way for this guy to sell copies of a book. You have to be more subtle than that.

Let me get this straight...someone has paid 21 notes for...what?

The channce to give this fella the Cube?

I'm moderately confused as to how you pay someone for something he wants?

I'm not ebay literate - do we know who bought it?

Are we to assume then, that since the item has effectively been removed from auction that this is a hoax? What if the PM who drew it just didn't like all the nasty press he was getting about his poor art skills and decided he was taking his ball home (or cube in this case)... I was going to suggest that we all log complaints that it was a fake auction, and then if it was real, and the PM's had an understanding with ebay, the auction would have stayed, but guess we can't do that now.

Yeah, and he hasn't half bought some junk recently, perfect movie mask, statue of spiderman, usb bluetooth dongle. Possible he was a friend of the guy who posted it, or maybe even the same person, and they saw this as the easiest way of ending it. Question

I'm for binning it and declaring it a hoax.

Of course, that leaves us with not a lot to do...

Panini? The guys that used to do football stickers? Only marginally worse than a hair sandwich, surely?

Panini

A traditional small Italian sandwich that is pressed and grilled so that the bread has a golden crust on both sides of the sandwich. Typically, the sandwich is filled with a variety of ingredients such as meats, cheeses, roasted bell peppers, roasted egg plant, sweet basil, sun-dried tomatoes, and other similar sandwich fillings.
