Does it help me in any way so far? No. I tried it in the mezzanine door and the contract - to no avail. I'd love to hear other thoughts.

You did read the post 6 up from yours right? I personally kinda like that solution since it just seems too coincidental otherwise. But there still could be other solutions out there...

my 2 cents

Have been following the forum for quite a while, but this is my first post... well first I gotta say that you guys are AMAZING!

Anyway, I have another thought regarding the Daniel 5 message... could it be that the "Numbered", "Weighed", "Divided" are referring to the soul worth test?
Numbered: I'm not exactly sure, but for my own password and Jon's password to log into SS, they both look like hex values? In other words, everyone's password is composed of '0'-'9','a'-'f' only? (Perhaps people can confirm with me on this)
(another question we can ask is, would converting Jon's SS password 14bbb942 into decimal = 347,846,978 be significant?)
Weighed: the soul test itself...
Divided: the soul derivative is soul worth divided by the golden ratio

Also, somehow that "NOPASSWORD" message keeps nagging at me... could either Jon's contract (less likely, I'd say) or the mezzanine room have no password Confused? Or it's just saying that there's no hints for the password for one of them until we've solved for the other first? It's gotta be more significant than that... Evil or Very Mad

Or, it could mean that there is no password for the door. It doesn't open. People have decompiled the flash and found nothing (granted, it could be put in in a new version.

I registered too, my number was hexadecimal, I found no meaning in it whatsoever... Messed with the binary, octal, and decimal versions and didn't find anything...

One thing i didn't try was looking at factors. I'll post if I notice anything

interesting...

His number is a prime (173923489) times 2.
Mine was a prime (238842223) times 4...
I don't think it matters if anyone can log in as my name, so my hex value was 38F1C5BC, and my prime * 4 is 955368892
There is a ~6% chance of this happening.... anyone else's logins multiples of large primes?

primes?

About prime numbers,.....

My S+S login code was 2122155587 (7e7d8643), which is prime.

Could be connected the the random number generator they use.

Not likely.... that would be a terrible RNG if it was.

daniel 5

King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles. (…) As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone.
Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. His face turned pale and he was frightened.
The queen, hearing the voices of the king and his nobles, came into the banquet hall. "O king, live forever!" she said. "Don't be alarmed! There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. This man Daniel, whom the king called Belteshazzar,(…). Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means."
Daniel translated. "This is the inscription that was written: Mene , Mene , Tekel , Parsin. This is what these words mean:
Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.
Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.
Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.

this is, shortly, the story of daniel 5. there was a message near the lampstand of the royal palace. somewhere near a lamp should be a message? the message top of the desk in the hiding room?
tekel could mean that the writer is found wanting: maybe it means that the man in black found him good enough to take his soul.

in the overall the lines means what the 'soulsellers' have found out; there days on earth (as in heaven) are counted, because they sold there souls. as in the story, the medes and persians where the enemy. that's where the 'soulsellers' souls are going to.

hidden characters

if you take the letters + 12, you can read from O gcadzshs fsr vsffwbu : a somplete red herring. note that the s should be an c.

if you do the square:
1 12 12 9 19 14 15 20
19 5 5 13 19 20 8
3 18 3 1 18 5 3
12 21 5 19 5 22 5
18 25 23 8 5 18 5
A…………… T…………

you read: all is not seems thcrc are clues everywhere
note that the c should be an e.

i still don't know what to do with that information, but it should mean something! haven't checked for further hidden characters!

This is probably unclear writing/reading mistake. It is not a g but a q. Which will translate to 'c' in ROT-12.

But for the other part, it must be part of the clue

well, been busy with this quite some time.

just a tought about the c who needs to be e. as you might have noticed c=3 in this table. 3 is the holy number of the church which might refers to the bible. somewhere als in one of the books it says 'daniel5' which is a part in the bible. But daniel5 is written in it twice, referring back to the number of c's, meaning the 3 need to be 5 to be read properly.

An other question is why the a is outlined. might be because of the numbers needed for the message, but it could be an other clue.

just a tought, I think i'm getting paranoie. But well done to the creators, this must have been an awful lot of work.

The prime number theory holds no water, I registered another email address and it was divisible by 3, 7, 21, and other numbers.
However, i did register my same name again and got a different number, which implies that these accounts will be used for something later (otherwise, why create different accounts for the same name?)

Tried some searches on THCRC, but the only things, that turn up over and over are:

- a non-profit recycling company in Tower Hamlets
- a strikening lot of .pdf-documents, where the html-transcriptions have a c for an e, whyever.

Regarding leet-speak, I wonder, why it should be only in one word.
