And remember, it's unlimited shots. Notice how it never ever goes below 100? Yep.

Can you imagine people's reactions if you could use that in matchmaking and surprise people?

Okay, firstly - you win, ten trajillion times over for that video. Informative, fun and set to Prodigy. There isn't anything else to say.
Secondly, I now have no inspiration to continue working today. I'm going to sit here for the next four hours and dreamily fantasize about popping in Halo 2 and getting this gun.
Finally, I believe that Durga put that there for us. No, really, I do. She does take care of her people, after all.

lol, well thanks a lot. I didn't discover it, and I'm certainly not the first to make a video of it, but I thought it'd be cool to do as a little distraction. I didn't realize it'd get response
It's seriously worth the time it takes to get it, even if it's only on that one level, because it's terribly fun to just obliterate any and every thing on the map.

Soooo close, I got soooo close. Had the banshee just to the right of the last tunnel ... took one too many steps into the tunnel trying to get it to follow me and got the checkpoint .... *pooof, the banshee dissapears* AAAAARRRRRGGGGG!!!

lmao, toooold you. I've had that happen to me several times. I think what's even more frustrating are the times when the Banshee goes over one of the dividers in the tunnel and out of sight, and then suddenly you just don't hear the engine anymore. So you go around to look on the other side of the barrier, and sure enough to whole room is empty. Soooo frustrating, hahaha.
Don't worry, it's like riding a bike; once you know how to do it, it's not all that difficult.

FREEEDOM!!!
Is what I yelled as I clipped the Banshee's wings and hopped aboard just in time for the word Loading... to appear on the screen.
PHEW!
It took a few tries (and I love my Marines a significant bit less now), but man it feels good to fly!

PURE SWEETNESS!
That was soooo much phun!!! Unlimited ammo weapon of mass destruction! Yipee!!!
And a couple of questions answered (with the help of a banshee joyride around metropolis and a nice weapon of mass destruction):
1 - the entire map is NOT populated with enemies at the start. Individual areas do not populate until you reach the checkpoint for that area.
2 - the scarab has no pilot nor anybody else on it when you come out of the tunnel. It just walks around the corner and then dissappears.
3 - while you can blow all the turrets off the new Covenant dropships, you cannot "kill" the dropships themselves (no matter how many times you hit them)
4 - the smaller turrets on the front and back of the scarab can be destroyed (though they never even fire, so I'm not sure why they are there to begin with)
5 - it is not a good idea to shoot the ground, a wall, or in fact anything near yourself with the scarab gun.

I always kill them before I attempt to get a banshee to follow. I killed them the first time, only to find that a marine with a rocket launcher comes out of nowwhere and start shooting banshees out of the sky...I was so pissed I got in the tank, shot him, then ran him over about 5 times

Yes, I found having a destroyed warthog up against the first barrier helps to get the tank through the opening

Great vid ThaJinx. Way to disseminate the info. I know people who would have just posted a screenshot and made people beg to be told how it was done.

No, responses to the thread stopped, so I took it down after about a week of silence. Sorry, chief. I lemme go ahead and upload it again, I'll edit this post when it's there.
Edit : It's up now, clicking the link should work

that answers quite a few questions for me. Did you save and quit everytime you hit a checkpoint that you wanted? Seems to me like that'd be real handy.
