[SPEC] A wild spec regarding the cube(s)

Let me just give you my spec first:

There are multiple cubes.

REASONING:
1. Multiple cubes in academy logo
2. Odd grammar in Zeller bio ("of Cube")
3. Syzygy=Gather Cubes

Now, why would Syzygy be complete? I think there is an earth company/group that has gathered all the cubes, or at least think they have. I think some of the errorlog directory came from this. Not all, however. I also think Sente might actually be part of this faction, but secretly. It makes sense. Maybe he wanted us to find this errorlog directory. I think:

PerplexCity.com is a site for Perplex City. Sente hid files on the site that he wanted us to see. He is a traitor of the Academy, and he wants us on his side.
ProjectSyzygy.com is a site for the project itself. This is the earth site.
Errorlog is home to the transcripts about Syzygy. The shoes are a project some of the Syzygy workers are working on.

There are more things that agree or disagree with this. Remember, this is a SPEC.

It's a good point about the website though. Either Sente is / has access to someone very high up in the Perplex City heirarchy (mayor?) or he is a very accomplished hacker to have managed to steal the primary .com domain from whoever should own it (most likely a business to do with city tourism).

[SPEC extrapolation...]
Take www.newyorkcity.com for example. This is a site that promotes that cities attractions. Imagine going to that address one day and finding only a weird and cryptic message. Whoever put the message there is bound to be some sort of hacker. In order to be able to keep the message there, they would have to be very accomplished.

The postcard tells us that there are Perplex City tours, which means it does indeed have some sort of tourist industry, yet the website contains nothing in the way of tourist attractions; only Sente's bizarre request for help.

I kind of thought "project syzygy completed" meant that there were enough of us (arg-ers) gathered together and signed up to help sente search for the cube. sorry if this has been covered b-4... my brains are fried ..and i just consumed an entire bag o microwave popcorn reading over all the posts. Dunce Very Happy

Whoa.

So going on this multiple cubes theory...

What if the blacked out word... is NUMERICAL.

i.e.... Someone has stolen the Seventh Cube.

Assuming it's the same font size, I don't think that "NUMERICAL" would fit in that blacked-out space. There's only room for about 6 letters.

I think Perplex City's administration is the Academy, hence it would explain why they put this huge message on the page and get away with it. Anyway remember, PPC is not in this world Smile

I think what blackdays was trying to say was that the blacked out word could be 'Seventh' though again it's questionable whether that would fit in the gap.

Personally, I reckon it says '....an unknown party has taken the bloody cube....' and it just got caught by some sort of cuss-filter Smile

I just read this thread again, and actually think that there might be some mileage in Tommys spec of there being multiple cubes. The logo would indeed suggest this. Maybe there are several cubes, which when combined have an almighty power capable of... er... something Wink And one of them has gone missing. Maybe there are enemies who are trying to get the cubes for themselves. [/spec]

i want one Smile

however the obvious step up from one cube is eight cubes (the cubes that bound a tesseract in the way six squares bound the cube)

there are less than eight in the logo
.

of course, this then leads to the film adaption, 'One of our Cubes is missing!'
