[SPEC] Dennis "Den" Horen He's the Hornchurch lotto winner.
The Hornchurch Star's horoscope says:
Quote:
Sagittarius:
Nov 23 - Dec 21
You yearn for knowledge and seek an explanation as to what you're meant to do. The answers lie in the questions; who is Dennis Horen, and what did he sell?
From the classifieds:
Quote:
Articles for sale
1 prayer book, no longer required.
Call Dennis on 6661366.
On the Sable & Shuck business page, there's a quote:
Quote:
"Forget heaven, man. I'm living there now." - D. Horen (client)
SO... Dennis has an S&S account, too. I'm wondering if it's another way in.

Well, yeah. That's the given.
But that means he's signed up at Sable & Shuck, for Currency Options. Therefore, he has a username and password, which may be another way to access S&S from the inside.

Looking at his name again.......'Den Horen' is Flamish language (Dutch-like language of Belgium) for 'Of the Horns'. We all know who has two little red fiery horns on the head.

hi i'm dutch. native speaker hehe
Den Horen is a very common name in the lowlands. if translated the closest thing would be:
the horn
Den (the) is old fashioned language.
i dont think his last name is something very important, i think it is just a reminder of the first name of SA.......

it probably refers to the SA Logo. Was already in locked thread.

Den Horen is the name of a brewery in Leuven, it opened in 1366. Guess which company started there? Right, Stella Artois.

I did read the other day that Daniel's 5th prophecy was that a "little horn" (or Den Horen) would appear:
In Daniel 7:25 -
The saints are given into the hand of "A Little Horn" for 1260 days.

If I've interpreted what I've read correctly, the coming of "The Horn" signifies the approach of Armageddon.

I have an idea on how we may be able to determine Horen's S+S login.
I registered with S+S and the accidentally unregistered. When I re-registered with the same user info, my password was exactly the same. We know that they are all 8-character hex numbers - perhaps there is a way they are determined that we can figure out and use to derive Horen's?

my login looks like the reversed 8 characters of the userid mentioned in the unsubscribe link of the S+S confirmation link.
Change of name did not influence the id, so it relates to the used email address??

Looking at all the emails I have received from in-game sites, the unsubscribe links at the bottom all use the same user ID. If you look at the string of characters at the end of the link, they are identical in each email. Therefore, you can determine your Sable + Shuck ID even before they actually email it to you (or even if you only received email from Jon or one of the other companies), just by looking at the first 8 characters of the string and reversing them, like WierdoGuest noticed.
