Already multilplied and divided by 2210 (and a whole ton of other stuff; check the Wiki), back around page 10 or so. Also considered lat/long coordinates but unless it's been measured with super-accuracy (like, to the nearest inch or something) there's too many digits. I was toying with the idea that it's a coordinate and a date and time but I haven't figured out if/how it would break down into this yet....

I'm not clever enough to do this, but as Pillarnumber7 mentions in the new 'questions' thread, could this be co-ords for an image map? Or part thereof? Go crazy!!

I think maybe that this will be something like what happened with the Coords when we first got them in ILB. Everybody was trying to decode them, but it became obvious later after more hints that they were coordinates to pay phones. I'm not touching anything more on the postcard just yet.

maze code

Im rather new to Perplexcity. As i looked at the maze on the postcard, i thought this could be binary (turn left / turn right ->0/1) There are 30 turns on it
binary this would be
Code:
100011110001011011000011111000
right->1 and you start on the left. but i got no results.
But maybe someone find this useful as I've not seen this idea before.

Looking at the postcard, if anything, the most interesting things to me are the "2210" and PCPS in the middle of the maze... could the 2210 possibly be the year the card was printed in Perplex City? I mean, we think they are quite literally from an alternate Universe... why couldn't they be just a few years ahead of us?

But then there is the possibility of the 2210 being a key to break the numbers beneath the Semacode.

Omg, we've gone a full circle. Dearest PMs, please start the game already, lest someone rediscovers 2oc4o!

Maybe 2210 is how many years it'll feel like between first mention and release... no... already feels way longer.

Ack, sorry, I've been keeping up since last year, but obviously not well enough. You might want to add that to the primer. XD

How the f*ck am I so stupid?!?!

I knew this was going to be big, and possibly stretching into real-world media... like television.

It's been mentioned that "hello world" is the binary code from the lights translated on the postcard.

In the UK, an advert campaign has JUST been released for "travelocity.co.uk." It's tagline:

Hello world.

It could well be coincidence, but the investigation continues.

No, the number under the semacode is how many years it feels like we've being going round and round. ]

Start the game now!

By the way, is this level of anxiety common in ARG virgins?

This is my first ARG and I picked it up at the Firebox ad.

I'm going mad, is this the PM's plan, are they sponsoring a sanitarium?

Alex,

The Travelocity site looks like a legit one, the company has been around for a good while.

Tried putting in Perplex City as a destination anyway..... Don't get excited. Good spot though!

I found it interesting that on the postcard, www.perplexcity.com was mirrored, and just below that are the words "on reverse" (in the descrip of the frontal art).

I mean, it's not that difficult to read the www.perplexcity.com, so you have to ask yourself why mirror it? There might be a reason, clue to something else?

I dunno, just a thought.
