we love bees right? Announcing the initiation of the ILB archives.
Designed to carry a complete listing of the wavs, archives of puzzels, Unfiction, analysis of characters, events, speculation, and a timeline of events
There is a large portion of the site devoted for the Halo 2 clans:
The Beekeepers
Evade Evade Evade
all game records, player profiles, prestigous events, etc.
Pretty much a compendium for all things ILB.
Still under heavy construction.

Woo! We DO love bees! Is there going to be a section for, say, some of the more prominent member's experences, IE Weephun being shunned for a little while because of what he did, funny stories about going to axons, and so on?

gotta set up a custom 404 error page
So I'm assuming the main content will be launched on Dec 20 @ 7:07am in some timezone?
edit: hmph. everyone has the same idea... I want to get som testimonies of people up on Creepy at the end of the story, comments and such... and I'm going to be linking to actual puzzles and processes, real events that took places, whever they're alluded to in the story... and other fan-ish stuff, like the haikus and 'favourite' lists and such... so much to put in...
and we all seem to have the same idea

Yes. I grabed all the javascripts and pages and structure from the site.
The only querk I need to figure out now is how to setup a custom 404 page.
And Yes, there will be an entire section devoted to beekeepers, I am also going to start asking... now... for any Crewmembers who are interested to email me a picture of themselves and/or a paragraph explaining a memorable moment, the experience for them... etc.
Otherwise general moments of memorable mention will be put up.
And the Countdown is for PST, the launching of the full site (or as full as i can get with the sumbitted info, that will continually update until i have heard from everyone.
KUDOS to squeaky 21 for hosting. MUCHO KUDOS.
ANd to save space and bandwith, the site will link to the ILB file destinations. an alternate site lays dormat on my PC waiting to replace the current one with a FULL server based database. So do not worry that the site is linking remotly to the ILB server... it's all good.

it's an alteration on the server settings, you need to tell the server to display a custom file for 404 errors (presumably with the additional info of what page was being requested). In IIS there's a custom errors tab, and the error code and requested page are passed in the query string, so technically, the 404 page needs to be a server side script (asp, php, pl, what have you, or if you're real techie, an html piped through an alternate isapi dll to handle server script )

oh I know, I hate developing sites without custom 404 pages... it's almost like a site isn't complete unless the 404 is also complete. Not just for design purpose, but also for tracking broken links and incorrect referrals, etc (outside of tracking the physical server request stats)... many good uses.
so anyway...

sent the 404 via email
As far as email... I don't know. supposing it doesn't effect your costs, why not have a few accounts for crewmembers/clan leaders/distnguished personell wanting them.
What I want to do, is link these forums as "the forums"
and If anyone knows how to excell-trick-XML the stats from B.net, I want to have that option open for the clans, so the records don't get *cleansed*

Sure it could
Could put a password on the directory so you have to find the password here before looking at it (so we don't have out stuff just plastered out on the net)
Sound ok?? someone give me some html to put up, and I will do it.
Want a subdomain of www.welovebees.com?
Contact.welovebees.com?? let me know
