Interesting. Maybe, such a calendar could be tied in to the new WLB site. It could be especially important if it turns out that beekeeper prime time regularly breaks down by time zone.

Seems to me anything earlier than 9pm precludes us east coasters from playing with our friends in the midwest and mountain time zones. I'm not sure I've played anyone on the west coast, yet. So, I guess I'd vote for 9pm.
(sigh) I used to be able to get up at 5:30am to hit the gym and get into work. Not since I've started playing the the Beekeepers, though. Y'all need to start being less cool - it's messing with my biorhythms.

I really like this effort. I know it's tough to have limited time to play and it's frustrating to miss people because of a different schedule. This callendar is very cool and it would help to promote even better playing time.
But, just one advice! Everything should be interpreted as tentative and I'm sure more than once, people will say they will be there at a certain time and then they just can't show up for whatever reasons. I'm always at risk of getting home and just not being able to connect at all! Sometimes friends show up uninvited, sometimes I just collapse on the couch after dinner (like yesterday! ), sometimes my parents call me and sometimes my wife needs me more than usual! So, if we try to get something a little more organized going, keep these type of things in mind, so you don't get disappointed!

Think of this like a social club. If we were all in the same town, we would agree to meet at a certain time and place that was most convenient for everyone. If you can make it at the appointed time, you can reasonably expect to find someone else there. It's better than hanging out all night hoping for the best, or --worse-- darting in and out of XBL to see if any of your friends happen to be there.

We're just making a list for the ballot right now. If you have even a vague idea when is most convenient for you, submit those times, and we'll add them all to the ballot.

8PM MST is probably best for me.

Anywhere between 8am and 3pm EST...
It would be a lot easier if the laws of time didn't apply to Xbox Live.

Of course it's tentative, and it's no big deal if not everyone is on every night. It's only possible to have 16 to a game anywho, and with such a big group of potential players this community is, you can't even play with everyone who is on at once, let alone fret about the people who aren't.
And I think social club is exactly the right way to put it. That's one of the biggest reasons to join a clan. Forget all the politics and drama that seem to be going around, it's basically just an extended Friends list. For those of you who may not be in a clan, and are having a hard time finding people on when you are, I'd strongly suggest joining one. You'll be hard-pressed to find a time of day when there isn't someone else online.

FYI, I've got my contact list set up and available, but you can't enter until you've been given access, and I'm at the stage now of finding willing moderators to maintain the contact list... more about it here

As I said, I really like the idea, as long as people understand the purpose and don't take it as commitments. It'll certainly help everybody!

Great idea. we could be the society of Beekeepers. and Eventhough I am in a clan there isn't always enough friends available to play either because they are already matchmaking or the game is full.

If I happen to be online on a weekday, it will be about 8pm EST. My gamertag is Astald in case there is anyone here who is not my Halo Friend.

I would love to play with you guys more often, but the fact of the matter is that it's turning into the busiest time of the year (and I'm probably not the only one experiencing this). I've got finals Monday and Tuesday, somehow I have to shop for family and friends, I have work from 9 to 5 any day I have no classes, and there's the small matter of a plane I'm flying in from here to D.C. on the 17th... so I won't be playing much till the 21st after that... but then of course there's more work and *Gets shot in the head, preventing his ramble*
We apologise for this inconvenience, but TridenT will now have to shut the hell up and quit his bitching.

You're coming to DC?
Have you informed any of the DC beekeepers? (Say... me?) If you're in town, we'd definitely be interested in getting together, and I think I can safely speak for all of the beekeepers here.

I tend to cone online at around 10 Central. Except for the next few weeks when I'll be back home in the eastern timezone, so it'll probably be a bit earlier.
